I got this after a lot of looking for lap desks (I already own a couple) because: It's small: no bigger than I need for my iPad pro plus keyboard. The surface is flat, with only a pen groove. The texture is smooth, too, so it doesn't affect writing or drawing and a silicone sticky pad keeps things like my phone from sliding off. There's no lip around the edge. The edges are slightly rounded so that if my wrists rest there, I don't get red lines on my delicate princess skin. (Joking aside, resting your forearm on a ridge is uncomfortable.) It's also just more attractive. Those three things fixed the problems I'd had with my other plastic lap desks. I thought I'd have to get an expensive wood one, but this was well priced and is well made. 100% happy with this purchase.

It's very sturdy and not too wide.

Love it! I'm an early riser, before dawn. I make a mug of coffee and come upstairs to the second floor cozy toasty back room to sit in my glider rocker where I say my prayers, do crosswords and cryptograms and write checks.

Best use: Having your child do homework in the car after school, not at home.

My daughter loves this lap desk. We keep it in the car. She is in 1st grade and does her homework on the drive home from school (about a 30 minute commute.) I recommend this for any time-strapped commuter parent with children. Being able to have homework done before even getting home has been a great relief to my daughter. We are only home for about 2 and a half hours before it is already bedtime. We are able to enjoy each others company more freely during the week

Good quality and light weight.

Perfection. When it arrived, the package was so light I wondered if they shipped it without the item in it. lol. So out popped this lovely light blue lap desk I ordered for my HP envy 13.3 laptop. It works together perfectly. Nice quality and as light as air itself.

Great little lap desk

I had a lap desk that had a bean-bag type thing on the bottom and it was coming apart so I was looking for a new one. This is perfect. The surface is smooth so it’s easy to write on paper and not have a texture come through. It also had solid little “bumpers” on the bottom that won’t leak beans. It also has a pen/pencil well so your writing implement won’t roll off. Great price. I got the pink one.

Will fit a small laptop, but not external mouse if you decide to use one instead of the trackpad.

I bought this to take notes at a convention I'll be attending. There isn't a table so I needed a small lap table that would fit on my lap, yet not be too big that it would get in the way of the person sitting next to me. This fits perfectly! I love how small this is. It was exactly what I was looking for to use with my windows tablet. I can now type on the windows tablet keyboard with good stability, instead of the tablet being directly on my lap. If I decide to write notes on a notepad instead of typing them out on my tablet, this is perfect for that too. This will also fit in my backpack, so I won't have to carry it, so that is a nice plus!

Perfect for applique

Perfection. I am using it for lap applique and am able to fit a clip on light to the side ( Tranya brand $9. Bought on amazon with this). The lap desk is smaller than a laptop but bigger than a craft book. It is the perfect weight and the underside has cushions that my leg rest between. There is a product for applique call the lap app and I know someone who has it. I find this to work better for myself more stable and again I can clip a rechargeable light to it and have enough room for a large project.

microsoft laptop 2 essential

I bought this laptop before I purchased my ms laptop 2 assuming by reviews it would work. Well I cannot find anything but positive. It holds my lap top perfectly and the non skid dots on bottom of laptop keep it from sliding. The cushions filled with plastic beads are just right for me. Very nice addition. The pencil holder is useless for laptop but who cares.

So glad I chose this one.

I bought this for a friend in a nursing facility. It is perfect for her because it is light weight and not too big plus it has a pencil holder not all do. She is very small and it isn't heavy on her little legs. She sits for hours doing her word search puzzles comfortably.

Great size for tablets and textbooks. Also good as tray for dinner lol. Nice padding on the bottom that keeps it steady. This is just an essential item to have handy. 10/10 👍🏼
