Very nice quality of material

I purchased this cutting board to sit on top of my stove in my RV to help create more counter space. I needed to cut it down on one side and after I cleaned up the edge it fit perfectly. Very nice quality of material, a lot of quality material for the price. Very stable, not a flimsy board. It is so dense of material I cannot find a glue that will stick to it. I needed to glue a small strip on the underside of the board so it wouldn't slide off the stove. I had to mechanically attach the strip as nothing would stick, even the glues that were made just for plastic.

Maximize your surface

The large size of this board makes it easier to work with the larger cuts of meat coming off my smoker. It gives plenty of room to slice without having to rearrange after every cut. The board is about 1/2 inch thick so there is very little flex to it. No cutout for a handgrip ensures I get maximum working surface. The only downside to not having a handgrip on a board this large is when it comes to washing. The heft of this thing and soapy hands gets a bit cumbersome, but I adapted fairly quickly. The description states, "Textured Anti-Slip Surface - Helps Prevent Sliding While Prepping," but I didn't find that to be the case. Yes, it is textured, but on a granite countertop, this slides all over. Perhaps they are referring to the food not sliding on the board. However, this is easily solved with a piece of drawer liner (like Gorilla Grip). The problem is that i like this board so much, that I want a smaller version of it. these boards are great, love the color coding and knife feel when cutting. the go right in the dish washer I am very pleased with my purchase and plan on getting a couple more. I own three right now the yellow for chicken the red for read meat and the brown for cooked food. I will be buying the blue one soon as I seafood once a week . now i do not have to worry about cross contamination of foods as I know instantly what board is for what.

Great quality and size

I was a little skeptical purchasing this cutting board because it is nearly twice the size of the ones I've been purchasing at the drug store all these years, and there was no cut-out handle in this board as I was used to. But after using it, I really appreciate the added size - nothing falls off onto the counter anymore, its hefty weight and thickness prevent it from sliding around due to warping, and I don't miss stuff falling through the handle as I either cut or transfer what I'm cutting. My knife feels great on the surface, doesn't slide around or make any unsatisfying sound or sensation. I got another in red to dedicate to raw meats, and this green one is for produce. I still use a small board with a handle for all other items, so I am reminded of its shortcomings compared to this cutting board.

I bought 2 to revamp my kitchen! BEAUTIFUL! Just remember to place a damp cloth underneath to avoid slipping (as with ANY cutting board!). They are the same as the ones in the professional kitchen. NICE! My sentimental daughter was hanging on to to an old cutting board until seeing how good these are! Dishwasher Safe....and cleans and dries quick when hand washed! LOVE THEM! And for a great price too!

Just what I need

I did not purchase this item for the normal use. I got it to cover our camping trailer stove in order to have more counter space. However, I really do like it! It covers the stove perfectly, can store between stove hood and wall, and it even covers my sinks for even more counter space on my island. I'm very pleased with the item and I can cut on it, TOO!!!

Finally, large surface area cutting boards

These are fantastic. The size is great, the material is nice, the colors are a wonderful option to have (the last time we bought cutting boards similar to these we didn't have color options). We found these after searching for some time for a large cutting board and being rather unhappy with the options available. Too many cutting boards seem to have nice, large dimensions but because they include handles, rubberized boarders, or liquid channels around the edge, the actual usable cutting surface ends up being small (or at least too small for our needs). No these though, as what they advertise is exactly what you get with these straight-forward cutting boards. They don't have nonslip nubs on them but we ended up not needing them. The boards rarely slide (they've only moved once, and only then because it was on a glass stove top). On our counter tops they stay in place and just give us the large cutting surface we need. We bought them in Purple and Blue, and though the pictures don't really match the colors we received, (the purple was lighter than the picture, for example) they're still good looking and exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Thick, Heavy, Large, High Quality, BPA-free, Great Price!

I'm very pleased with this high quality product, which is also a great price. It's not mentioned in the listing, but it also states on the label that it is BPA-free. For those concerned with plastic safety, polypropylene is #5 which is supposed to be one of the safer ones. The cutting board is thick, heavy, large, feels very high quality, and has done well in the dishwasher so far. You won't find something like this at major department stores. Other similar cutting boards are available on Amazon, but are either polyethylene (not as durable) or are polypropylene, but less than half the thickness of this one. Very happy with it so far and would recommend it to others.

Exactly what I was looking for!

I keep this cutting board out in my kitchen so I always have a surface to cut on. This board was perfect for the prep station I installed in my kitchen. Feels like it was made with quality materials and is easy to keep clean. My old cutting board was small so it was hard to keep everything on the board, and it was made of cheap plastic that stained easily. This was the perfect solution to all of my complaints of my old cutting board!

Sturdy Heat Resistant Cutting Board

This cutting board is heat resistant. Pots right off the flame and baking pans right out of the oven can be place on this board. No melting or discolorations occurs. It has a nice thickness. It's a sturdy board for cutting. It gets superficial marring from cutting and chopping, but no nicks. I like this big board. I use it for chopping, protecting the counter top from hot pot and pans and for kneading dough.
