I think I made an even better choice than I realized

Fits perfectly and won't slide around in the sleeve. Made to the actual size of the Oasis 9th Generation (2017). You would not think that is difficult to find, but it is. And now I own one. You can only put it in top or bottom down. I mean the buttons side to left or right. I guess you could force it in buttons to the top but it would be really tight and not worth it. The magnets hold it closed really well. The flap seems to have a stiffened piece inside, and I like that. I have not had an issue with it coming on inside the slipcase. This is perfect to protect against scratches when not in use or thrown in a bag / luggage. In my picture #1 the Oasis is pushed all the way in. So as I said, happily it is made to specs. The depth is perfect too. Even better than I expected. (Pic #2) It slides in easily, and is not floppy nor gap. Extremely happy with my purchase. I know this grey isn't exciting online, but it is a nice medium charcoal color that is actually attractive. It is blue based not yellow based medium charcoal grey. The spacing on the stitching in consistent distance from the edge and looks perfect (seen in all pics and #3 and #4) . Yes, I'm picky. This is worth more than I paid for it. Hopefully they keep this price point though. It smells slightly of kiddie pool type plastic. I assume from the layers inside the suede material? It will fade away. It's very faint. I was on the fence about ordering this sleeve case. I'm thrilled I did. It exceeds my expectations. And again I'm surprised, because I am picky with quality.

I really like it. It fit the Oasis nicely

I bought this sleeve for my new Kindle Oasis 7". I really like it. It fit the Oasis nicely. I didn't get the Amazon cover for the Oasis, so I couldn't try it with that. The only thing I wish is that I could fit the Oasis in the sleeve horizontally. That way when I would pull it out it would be from the side that I plan on holding it anyway also it would seem more symmetrical to me as well. But that is a minor issue. The outside of the sleeve feels like a suede material. The stitching is good. The magnetic closure seems fine to me.

Perfectly protects my new Kindle Oasis.

This inner sleeve case is well made and fits my new Kindle perfectly. I love my Kindle Oasis 9th generation, and this product gives me a perfect place to store it when I'm not reading. This product exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it for those with a Kindle Oasis 9th generation.

Great sleeve

I needed something to protect my Kindle Oasis but I didn't want to add any bulk to the device. This sleeve works great for that. I can comfortably put my Kindle into my laptop bag when it is in this pouch.

Fits my new toy perfectly!

I read about the issues with the new Kindle Oasis covers, but I still wanted to get something that would protect my new favorite toy when not in use. At the time, this was one of the very few products available, but it was a decent price so I got it. I'm glad I did! I got the grey, and it's exactly the same color as the photo. It opens & closes easily, and the magnets keep it closed well. My Kindle fits perfectly. I did buy a pop socket to make my Oasis easier to hold, and even though I have it attached to the thickest part of the Oasis, it still fits in the sleeve. My Oasis will sometimes turn on when I put it into or take it out of the sleeve because of the magnets. This doesn't happen all the time, and the Oasis will turn off eventually inside the sleeve since I'm not turning pages. The stitching on the sleeve is even and straight, and there aren't any weird strings hanging off it. This is a snug fit for a naked Oasis II. It's not tight, but there isn't a lot of extra room. A very slim cover will probably fit, but it will be a tight fit. It was $11.99 when I bought it, and it's $12.99 now. That's a good value either way. I really like this!

Perfect Complement to the Kindle Oasis!

I purchased a Kindle Oasis (after owning a Paperwhite) and, based upon many reviews, I decided that I did not want an attached case that would only be unwieldy and add extra weight. I found this WALNEW sleeve on Amazon and, after owning it for a week, I love it. The Kindle (sans case) fits nicely in the sleeve and, unlike other reports, I have had zero occurrences where the Oasis turned ON or OFF as a result of sliding it in/out of the sleeve. The magnetic fasteners provide just the right closure so that the flap does not come apart unless intended. I like the gray color and, because it is suede-like, it has a nice grippiness when putting it down or picking it up from any surface.

Interior of case not soft, but should be fine.

The inside is not "soft" per se, but I don't believe it will harm my Kindle. I only experienced the magnets activating my Kindle once, when the open flap slipped out of my fingers as I was slipping the Kindle into the case. I just hit the power button and closed the flap. I'm hoping that Amazon will be re-releasing the official "origami" case, as I really miss being able to stand my Kindle up to read while I eat, but for now this case will be perfect.

An Excellent Sleeve for the Kindle Oasis Reader

I prefer to use the Kindle Oasis without an enclosing case, but I use this sleeve to protect the Oasis when not in use. The Oasis inserts easily into the sleeve, but is held in place just fine, and it removes easily. I like the felt-like material and have not noticed any tendency to pick up oil from handling. The sleeve is well made and I consider it a good value.

Perfect simple sleeve.

If you want a very basic sleeve-style case and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, this is perfect. The case is sturdy and nicely padded. Magnetic closure is strong and effective. Perfect for folks who prefer to hold the Kindle without a case to read. I had bought the leather Oasis case from Amazon and was very disappointed -- returned it and got this instead. It's perfect.
