So the one thing about this product that stood out to us was that if any of the connected equipment power connectors( we had one wired backwards) are wired incorrectly, then the entire device switches off. I find this to be both good and bad since it won't ruin itself or your equipment but can lead you to think there is an issue with the power supply. I didn't see anything about this in the documentation, but to be fair, we didn't look to closely at the instructions so there you go. Otherwise this wall wart has been plugged in and is doing a fine job of running a variety of 12v equipement in our home. (window blinds, zwave sensors, camera's, ect) Just watch the load and check that all those circuits are wired correctly and go. We had previously tried a metal wall box with a power supply inside it but it was tripping our afci every time any tiny little thing would disturb the power. This power supply was cheaper and has never tripped a breaker which actually makes me feel a little safer with it hidden in a hard to reach room.

I got rid of 2 power strips for 8 cams on my house the clutter is gone but I fear all cams go down if one power pack goes bad so we see how long it last but as of now I’m happy

works great (so far). I got these yesterday and set them up. I can't speak to the longevity of the product, but the two I have certainly cuts down on the mess of wires that cluttered the floor under my desk from the 14 separate wall power plugs I was using over the last ten years.

I'm happy with it. I tested it with three Camera's all running on about 50-75 ft. of cabling. they're working. I'll be buying one more of these to power up a few more Camera's. The added simplicity of getting power to the back of my DVR's for powering Camera's versus creating my own wires is a no brainer.

Disregard my original review. Since writing that review the wavy video has returned. Even with different power supplies & cameras, it comes & goes, and it is not related to the Fancy power supply. My wiring goes thru the attic, and I now suspect a squirrel may be munching on the wires. (I wish it was the power supply!) I'm now giving Fancy P/S a "5", and my apologies. . Original: Connected to 4 cameras, each rated at 350ma, and all looked good for 24 hours. Then, one camera stopped working. I switched to another of the 8 power lines and that camera started working. (I measured output of first line and no 12V was present). I then noticed that all 4 cameras now had wavy lines running across picture. I dropped back to 3 cameras, then 2, before video was clear again. Any combination of 3 cameras causes wavy video. With any 2 cameras connected, video is clear. Something died in this power supply after 24 hours and it cannot supply over 1 amp. As I did not connect it until 30 days after purchase, it is too late to return.

This power supply replaced a defective one. This unit has plenty of power for the 5 cameras I have, and there are power jacks for 3 more cameras. I would recommend this unit...

Exactly what I needed. Got rid of 6 transformers. Works great with IP cameras

I was skeptical because it was more cheap than other options and but im very glad I went with this option. I would absolutely recommend it over the $50 set.

I have a 16-channel Zosi security system. I was having issues with cameras flickering and not working. I thought it may be because I had added spliters to existing power plugs, thus reducing the amps too much. I purchased this spliter to replace the power supply for 8 of my 16 cameras. They are working great now. I am ordering a second one for the rest of my cameras, not only will it provide enough power to properly run the cameras, it eliminates 8 plugs- really cleaning up the area!!

My cameras stoped working. Before buying new system I spent 10 dollars on this power supply and what do you know ? Back up and running.
