Update: On my second set and I still love them. They’re addicting. Still no complaints. Original: I’ve been wanting pantry storage containers for the longest time. I was determined to buy the Oxo set. After reading the reviews of the oxo set and this one I decided to go look at the oxo containers in person. One reviewer mentioned that the oxo set does NOT work if flour gets on the rubber stopper. After looking at the containers I can see how this would happen. I have a set of the regular Rubbermaid food storage containers and they are the hands down best storage containers I’ve ever had. So I figured why fix what’s not broken. These containers are the BOMB y’all. I can’t believe I was thinking of paying twice the amount for the Oxo ones now. These things seal so nice. They are STURDY. They wash well. They are pretty close to perfect. I really think these are more visually appealing compared to the button on top of the oxo ones. As you can see from my pictures they stack well and make my pantry look so clean. I just moved into an apartment from a house so I wanted to make sure all my food items were sealed tightly in case of bugs. These have met my expectations and then some. I will FOR SURE be buying another set and giving these out as gifts. They are really that nice. I highly recommend these. Save your money, skip the Oxo and grab these instead.

I previously purchased the Oxo push button containers and I found that the lid just slipped off of the flour container because the flour coated it and made the rubber ring not grip. That will never be a problem with these containers because of the locking mechanism. They are fantastic! They have a lifetime warranty and are guaranteed not to leak. I highly, highly recommend these! I've already purchased a second set. And while not advertised strongly enough, they are MADE IN THE USA!!

Now I know what you're thinking. These may seem a little costly but they are such a wonderful product. They are certainly a lot cheaper than going out and buying Tupperware. I love that i can see clearly into them see you can see how fresh the items are. I don't need to put labels on them since I can see what's in them. I love that they have design with his little holes that seal when you snap them closes so it keeps the air out making sure that things stay fresher longer. I managed to organize my entire pantry from my staple foods to even putting in chips. We have 1 small one that we use for Brown sugar and we did the Brown sugar test. I always seem to have a problem with the Brown sugar going dry and hard no matter what container I've purchased. But this one has been going strong. I love because I like to bake and every time I open up the container the Brown sugar is just as fresh. We did another test because We sometimes use a lot of many marshmallows but we never used the whole bag. So one the larger containers I poured in a whole bag of Mini marshmallows and to much of my surprise they are still just as fresh as the day I open them. They're not stale and they're not hard. I would highly recommend this product. In fact I went to my local Costco and found more on sale and ended up buying another bulk set here on Amazon.

These are wonderful containers! I used to use OXO branded ones, but they made my cereal stale and brown sugar hard sooner than Ziploc bags. So I only kept flour, rice, and white sugar in OXO containers. I have been using these Brilliant containers for a couple of years and these are durable and keep their air-tightness. Best air-tight containers among those I have tried. I mainly use them in the freezer and refrigerator for garlic, chopped up onions, grapes, strawberries, cookies, cake slices, donuts, you name it. They keep all my groceries and baked goods fresh for a long time. This set is a bargain since one large container costs almost $20. I bought this set to store chips, crackers, and brown sugar, the ones OXO did not do a good job on before. One downside is that these are not as easy to open as the OXO ones (I am guessing that means the air cannot get through). However, once you get used to it, it is not so difficult.

These containers are absolutely fantastic. Nice crystal clear plastic containers with lock tight lids with silicon seals. These are top of the line containers. They may be more expensive but well worth the additional cost. I went back multiple times for more. All my baking supplies are now locked in sealed containers. Flours, Sugars, Baking Soda/Powder, you name it!

After moving to the South, we discovered roaches in our apartment. I detest roaches so we took all efforts to eliminate them, including moving all of our food to airtight containers. This set costs more than we originally wanted to spend, but we decided to spring for a quality set since we will be using it on a regular basis and have limited storage space in our kitchen. We use it to store all of our dry foods: rice, sugar, flour, other baking ingredients, cereal, crackers, cookies, etc. It is truly airtight, and thus roach proof. Meaning, I can pour a bowl of cereal in the morning with peace of mind, without a shadow of doubt over whether or not there might be roach droppings or an actual roach in the food. As an added bonus, it keeps food fresh and crisp as well. The humidity that makes crackers lose their crunch as soon as they are open does not seem to penetrate these containers. The containers are also surprisingly durable. I mistakenly left the sugar container on top of our washer while it was running, and the vibrations sent the container crashing to the floor. The lid popped open and sugar got everywhere, but the contain did not even crack - and this was a large container with 5 lbs of sugar in it. Not even a hairline crack. We like to use the tall, skinny "spaghetti" containers for cereal, as they are easy to pour from. We may buy some extras of that size. Overall, it was worth the money to have an attractive, quality set of thoroughly airtight food storage containers.

I purchased this 'Very Good' from Amazon Marketplace and it arrived in the described condition! I love the crystal clearness of these. I ordered this set and then the small 8-piece set of these... to be honest, I wish I would have just ordered two sets of this 10-piece set - for $14 dollars more, I could have received 5 more containers to use (one of which was huge). Oh well. I'm happy either way. This is my current pantry. I ordered one more set of acrylic 'bucket' containers to finish it off. I LOVE how organized this makes me feel and absolutely LOVE that I can now see what I have in stock and what I need more of. The clear containers are awesome with keeping items fresh and I feel confident that my inventory won't stale as fast. I'm very happy and love this part of adulting!!

I don't know why I haven't done this sooner. I've been doing a lot of baking and home cooking to cut the cost of going out to eat. So I developed a big collection of ingredients that slowly started to get crammed into various cabinets. When I did my spring cleaning I found that a lot of items were no longer fresh and I had purchased multiples of certain items because I could not see everything clearly in my cabinet. This totally changed that. When I received these they came in perfect condition. I tested each seal by filling with water and flipping over. I know these are truly air tight because my brown sugar is just as fresh as the day I opened the bag. No more rock hard brown sugar! Yay! No issues with cracks or weird imperfections. If that changes in the future I will most certainly update this review to let everyone know. The plastic seems sturdy enough for it's purpose. I don't seem myself slamming these down on the counter like a heathen or dropping them accidentally. The spaghetti container holds 3 full boxes of spaghetti, fyi (I thought that was awesome). So I basically was able to organize 2 of my cabinets into the 1 you see here. I did not have enough containers to store everything so I will be purchasing another set of these in the near future. I'm so glad I went with the more expensive brand. I love that these are crystal clear. The other containers I was considering looked a touch cloudy, I guess the type of plastic they used? I didn't like that because it didn't look as clean and crisp. These are like looking through the cleanest of glass. I cannot wait to buy more and do my other cabinets. Basically if I can fit it into one of these containers that's where it will be going lol Highly recommend!

These are the most beautiful and brilliance containers ever. Better than oxo and definitely less breakable. You won’t regret!

Update: I received a replacement container and lid for what was missing. After using this set for some time now, I’m so pleased with it I’ve decided to order another set. I received this set today, and immediately dropped a filled container. No scratches or spills resulted though. The set looks great and holds a lot. I’m not entirely sure what I’d use the two 1/2 cup containers for, but the rest are very useful. The set came missing a top. I will update further once I hear from customer support.
