Awesome pair of little helpers! Fit my Prius V perfectly and carried a loaded large Yakima 2,200 miles without ever a need to re-tighten the straps. You do have live with some buffeting noise above 55 mph and a slight leak if it rains as the door seals get compressed by straps. But you can’t beat it for that price!

Can become the best roof rack with a few mods, but rain will ruin your day!

Pros: Easy to install, cheap, support decent weight, you can fit a pool noodle over top of it for protection. Cons: Strap that goes through your car so if it rains it will drip/soak through the strap and drip into your car wetting your seat. I also put a yoga mat cut out under the legs of the rack to prevent movement and scratches on my roof, and wrapped the bottom caps to the base because they slip off easy if not glued or something.

No better solution for the price

A complete roof rack setup for under $50. Not gonna beat that. This isn't meant as a long term solution, but if you're someone who only occasionally needs to carry stuff on the roof of your car, and want to be able to remove this rack quickly, then this is the product for you. My only complaint would be the ratchet strap being in the way of anyone sitting in the backseat on one side, or the passenger front seat. But that's not a knock on the product at all. I had a few friends riding with me, and they were able to manage just fine. Didn't bother either of them.

Great product! Easy installation and high quality.

Nice unit if used correctly.

Inexpensive way to haul wood on the roof. Light weight and easy to get on and off. Parts fit well and installed in ten minutes. I do t think I would place a 100 pound load on it, but a sheet or two of plywood or 2x4’s are no issue. I do remove when not being used as there is wind noise through the bars on my Santa Fe. Don’t know if others have had that issue.

Pretty good system

The product is solid as long as you installed them properly. We have to kayaks we secure them at front and back for better stability. They work fine and easy to remove and install.

As advertised

These work well on my minivan, which doesn't have a roof rack. The unit seems suitable for light loads. I'm just using it for a long ladder. Easy to assemble.

Just what I needed!

I can't quite see why there would be negative reviews on this product. It's the most cost-effective solution to not having side rails on my car. The bars expand to fit the roof size. I'm sure there are "sturdier" cross bars out there, but for the price I couldn't beat this one. If you need something affordable for a long weekend or summer trip to the lake, get 'em!

So far so good! I never used the straps that came with it. I immediately put a ratchet strap in its place and fed it through the inside of my car to the other side of the bar. More stability. Very sturdy so far. Will update review if things change
