• Wemo Light Switch seamlessly replaces your old wall light switch. Control you lights from Wemo Light Switch on the wall, the Wemo app, and even your voice with both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant
  • Set schedules and timers. Why come home to a dark house? Schedule WeMo however you’d like - set the porch light to turn on before you get home and set ceiling fans to come if the outside temperature hits 80. degrees
  • Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. Pair Wemo Light Switch with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant built-in devices like Google Home to turn your lights on or off with just the power of your voice
  • Works with Nest. Wemo Light Switch pairs with Nest to detect when you’re home or away. Use Nest compatibility to turn a ceiling fan off when the house is empty, or have your lights switch on when you come home
  • Replaces any single-pole light switch. Not compatible with 3-way (multi-switch) lights. Neutral wire required. Not designed to work with metal face plates

These are great to turn you house into a smart house like I have. I have paired these with my Echo's in the house and with IFTTT. They work flawlessly. Initially the setup is easy, and the worked slowly. as if the firmware was not quite up to date. I was correct. When the firmware updated (15 minutes or so after setup) Then there has been no issues with them at all. They are great and the tough dimming feature is great!

These work pretty seamlessly with my wireless router and Alexa. You should expect to do a factory reset on them after the initial installation, though. So far, I have had to do that for all three I have installed. Also, be sure you have a neutral wire for your intended switches, or don't buy these. They require it. Be sure your switches are in close enough proximity to the intended wireless network as well, and install only on the non-5G network if that is an option for you. Alexa and the switches must be on the same network. The back of the switch is a bit bulky, so expect to do a little wire manipulation / trimming to fit these in a multi-switch box. Finally, these are single-pole, meaning you can ONLY use them on single switch lights / fans / etc. If you understand these things, then you are good to go! (Oh, and I routinely install these upside down on purpose, because the factory reset switches are easier to access. They are on the bottom of the switch between the switch and the cover.)

I recently purchased a 3-pack of the Wemo Mini Smart Plugs. Initial setup was easy enough, but took longer than expected. I recommend updating the firmware first thing allowing for remote access (access outside of your wifi network). The plugs look great. They are wider than I'd prefer, however can be stacked two to an outlet which is a great design. I have them set up with string lighting and lamps. These plugs work as good or better than I had hoped.

Dimmer works pretty much like the instructions say. Some led bulbs will flicker rather than dim so you may need to experiment. I have read that a ceiling fan has a wattage limiter that may prevent led's in ceiling fans from dimming. This is my current problem also. Seems like wemo dimmers may install very easily, or may have some tricky problems to resolve. A working installation requires products from 4 or 5 vendors that can integrate successfully (wemo, led, wi-fi, Alexa, ceiling fan)

The switch is about as large as a standard box will fit in terms of height, and it was very difficult to get two of them side by side into a deep 3 gang box with the third gang populated, but, with some planning and much adjustment, they ultimately fit with virtually no room to spare. Set up was very easy just following the instructions in the required Wemo app, which is free, and adding the switches to Alexa was standard. Probably not a good choice for someone who is not too familiar with basic wiring techniques, because the switch has wired leads (about 4" of stranded wire) that must be connected to the existing wiring using wiring nuts. The four additional wiring nuts can take up a lot of space in a crowded box. I created a ceiling lights group using Alexa, and it is nice to be able to turn on all the ceiling lights with a single command and have them all adjusted to the same degree of brightness.

These switches are easy to install if you have a common wire. I have a 10 year old house, so it did have the common wire in the wall, but wasn't used by any other switch. Took a chance and hooked up switch to this anonymous wire and it worked! I've scheduled these lights to come on at sunset each day. This will be nice this winter when it's dark when we get home from work..

I love these because they look great and perform great! What I don't like is that the app occasionally loses sight of the switches. I have 12 Wemo devices and whether I have 1 or 12 installed this issue would still an issue. If I turn off WiFi or shut the app and restart it tends to fix the issue. I can also just turn off WiFi and use the app that way since my phone is able to turn on/off via cellular. I just hope that the Wemo Corp. has a separated developer team and test team so they can create better software. If they only have developers then they are going to have huge problems with the app! Hopefully they aren't relying only on their developers to test their own code.

I bought the wemo smart plugs to use instead of have to put in switched outlets. Right out of the box, it was super easy to install and get set up. The energy monitoring is neat, and the ability to set multiple schedules is convenient. I'm not going to call them issues, but the two things I don't like: installing the app and getting a second phone configured was a little more challenging than I expected. Also, the outlet is also a little bigger than I was anticipating. I was hoping that I might be able to get one to put outside under a weatherproof cover, however even with the expanding outlet cover I currently have, the wemo device is too big to fit under it. Now that I have two, I plan on buying more.

Great dimmer. The look of these dimmers is fantastic, they work well with Alexa, they work with a wide range of dimmable bulbs because if it can't figure it out automatically, it will revert to a manual mode where you can press a button and you tell it the dim range etc. Great engineering on these switches. One thing of note is you do need the wemo skill with alexa for these to work and that has made it a little slower than my previous wemo switches, but this can easily be fixed with software and the switches are getting updates to the firmware all the time.

I love these things! Or use them for Halloween light up decorations, Christmas lights, lambs in my home, anything that plugs in that I want to come on and off automatically. I set up timers and they do exactly as they should! Set up was incredibly easy as well. But I’m pretty text savvy so I can’t speak for those who aren’t. However I would think it would be pretty easy for most as there’s only three steps to getting them going. You will want to download the app to go with them! And it is free.
