Phone stays put!

Dang that is a strong magnet! Been using it for over a month and my Moto Z Force Droid is yet to fall off in transit. Make sure you test out where you are going to mount it and that the swiveling angles are sufficient for you see your phone without glare or reflection problems, or issues with the phone edges hitting other things. Sounds pretty obvious, but based on the contour of your dash, you may be surprised to discover what works and what doesn't. Update: Mar 2018 Phone still held tight as ever to the mount -- yet to fall off. Installed on a warmish winter day. The adhesive on dash seems fine. Will update in summer.

Works great!

Works fantastic! Wanted to get it before my vacation so I could use it on the 11 hour drive and I loved how it works. I have a pop socket on my phone and the magnet for the phone sticks perfectly on it, but it's strong so you have to grab a hold of the pop socket and slide it off the magnet but I'm still able to take off my case and charge the phone wirelessly since I put the magnet on my pop socket instead of the phone of case directly.

Cell phone holder that actually works! Omg. It works very well. The only thing I don’t know is whether it will work well if I pull it off my dash and put it on another dash in another car. Either way, it works well. Amazing. Now I can study while driving. **When you place this, be sure to place it closer to you to the left (like from the middle of the dash, maybe 6 inches to the left).

Works As Advertised.

This looks very nice in the car. I've not had to question it's ability to stick yet in it's first month. It does the job great. It holds the phone over snowy area pot holes and fast turns in the car. I'm very impressed with this $16 phone holder. As a bonus it could be used for things like GPS's, and possibly iPads! When I get out of the car I attach the charging cable to this Vava mount. Makes it easy to grab each time I get back in the car.

VERY high quality!

I'd been using a Bondi hanger that puts the phone under the rear view mirror. A friend had this holder and I thought I'd give it a try. This is high quality, compact, effective. Works wonderfully. In fact, I bought a second one for my other car!

This is a solid great product and I promise it is better than all the rest out there! I bought 2 other brands for my iPhone 7+ I had a mophie external battery case which added a little weight to the phone. One brand would not hold the phone in place where it is always tilting down and the other had a flimsy neck which broke 2x and shook to every bump in the road making gps difficult to watch while driving or impossible to read messages. All the brands had a solid magnet which held the phone to the unit but this one I promised is built well and will last forever

This is the best phone holder I have ever owned. Solid, heavy metal construction. Put the plate on my phone and put the case back on. Sticks to mount very well, and I can turn it as needed or just pop it off with one hand. Perfect! Going to order more.

I've tried three different variations of this generic type of magnetic phone holder, this one is by far the strongest of the bunch. The magnet seems much stronger then the other two. Zero issues thus far.

Best mount we have found (and tried a bunch).

Tried everything from a Ram Claw mount, CD slot mount, different dash mounts, Vent mount, even one that stuck out of the arm rest cup holder. Either they didn't hold the phone properly, got in the way, hard to remove phone, or just stuck out like a sore thumb on the dash. Finally tried this VAVA Magnetic mount, holds the phone well, one hand insert/removal, metal construction, and fits the general aesthetics of my interior perfectly. The wife and I like to watch Joe Kenda Homicide Hunter or Forensic Files while we drive (I know, don't hate), and the phone sits perfectly center above the dash screen without blocking the display. Can also twist the phone in any direction if you prefer it facing the driver (holds my large 6s Plus rock solid), and allows me to easily attach my GoPro for a quick and easy dashcam facing out the windshield. If in the market for a mounting solution, this one is working really well for us.

Just what I was looking for

I have tried so many different car mounts for my phone. Most are not designed to be useful in just about every car. All cars are different, so not all mounts work as well. I stopped doing the vent mounts. They are tough on your phone with a heater right behind them. They can be damaging to your vents. With that being said, this is the third magnetic mount I have tried. One eventually stopped sticking to my dash. Another wasn't very versatile and my phone was always falling off. This one is a winner for me. It has lasted a couple of months. It's very versatile, and can be stuck just about anywhere on your dash, depending on the size of your phone. I have a Samsung Note 9. It's quite large, so I was limited to where mine could go. But that is a phone thing, not a mount thing. The great thing about this is, even if I switch cases, I just stick a new metal plate to the back of the case, and I am good to go. They are cheap and easy to come by. This is hands down a winner for me.
