This pump will run dry, which is a serious advantage. I am using to pump out odd, isolated places in my boat's bilge. I put on some hose adapters and it runs like a charm. I can practically get the last drop out.

I needed this to pump water for watering a garden. It pumps the perfect amount of water for that application and shuts of almost instantly when the sprayer wand trigger is released.

This pump is so convenient to use. It's small enough to store easily and I bought 1/2" plastic vinyl hoses for the inlet and outlet sides which can be removed and installed easily by clamping their screw-on plastic fitting to the hose.. I bought it to remove rain water from a drained pond (small one...wouldn't recommend for huge quantity of water) and it can drain a decent rain in less than a half hour and fill containers with the water for later watering. Seems like quality construction and I would expect it to last a while.

Pump works well, but it's noisy. Update - 5-20-18 The seller went out of their way to contact me regarding the noise problem I was having and they resolved it quickly. Great seller, great product. Thank you!!!

I received my water pump in great timing. Happy with my purchase and the packaging. I believe the connectors are 1/2 inch. Home Depot sells a couplin, i believe in the electrical section that is half inch...the couplin is made of plastic pvc and the thread is much better for this pump. I went to Home Depot to buy adapters to serve my specific goals. The SeaFlow Accumulator comes with the same 1/2 inch connectors. Looking forward to getting everything set up. They also included a free filter!

Using this little pump in our small cabin to pump from a large order tank to a sink and shower. Perfect for this application. It pumps water approximately 10' from tank to pump and through about 16' of PEX.

Very happy with this purchase. We have a 150 ft hose coming from a tank by the water well, and attached this pump on our end, far from the well. The output of the pump leads into a system of hoses that branch out to shower, sink and garden hose. It is relatively quiet and keeps the pressure up. Very happy with the water flow and pressure it provides, which is ample.

I used this pump to get water out from behind the liner on my in-ground vinyl liner pool. I put a hose behind the liner and the pumped picked it up pumped it out. I was very satisfied with the results. Good things: - water flow was consistent - pumped primed easily - filter module is included - no priming required "Meh" things: - This pump doesn't connect directly to a garden hose. I bought 1/2" to 3/4" inch adapters to connect the hoses. On the input side I connected easily to the filter. On the output side the adapter (which worked fine with the filter) did not match up with the threads on the pump. It worked well enough to get the water away from the pool I did not let the "Meh" thing affect my rating because it was no fault of the pump or the seller. I just confused it with another pump I looked at, but decided I liked this one better. It was a good choice.

This works perfectly for what I need. I’m using it to transfer water from my rain barrels up to the porch to water the plants. I went to the hardware store and bought flexible tubing and metal screw rings to hold the tubing in place. My plants have never looked better. Regular watering and fertilizer do wonders.

I live in an off grid, solar cabin. I bought this, along with a 4 gallon pressure tank, to feed water to my house from a reservoir, which I fill with a submersible well pump. It works great now, after some tweaking, but it wasn't the pump's fault. The pump will work without a pressure tank, but it cycles everytime the pump comes on. I bought the tank to eliminate this problem, but I set it up like a typical well system: 2 psi below cut on pressure. It actually should be the same as the cut on pressure, which is usually 30 psi for this pump, but it is adjustable, and I installed a pressure gauge to measure the line pressure. The other issue I had was priming. My pump is about two feet above the top of the reservoir, with the end of the suction hose about five feet beneath the pump. As soon as the pump would shut off, it would start to lose prime, even after I checked and tightened all the connections. The pump really had to work a lot harder. I installed a check valve near the end of the suction line, almost like a foot valve, and it works great. Haven't had a problem since. If the pump was under the reservoir I don't think this would be an issue. It only runs one faucet at a time, but that's all we need. If that was an issue, Surflo makes more powerful, five chamber pumps. I definitely recommend it.
