Perfect for the Blue Snowball, Great Value
Fantastic! Just got this tonight. Ridiculously easy to set up and holds my Blue Snowball perfectly! Delivered same day and I set it up in minutes. This is my first boom arm for a microphone so I would have liked it to be a little taller to reach over my monitor but for the money I am extremely pleased. I am using this for podcasting and I am used to having the mic right in front of me sitting on the desk, but this got in the way of my keyboard and monitors. So I did a test recording and with a little post production work to compensate for the added distance from my mouth it was perfect. Well done Eastshining and well done (as always) Amazon! If I eventually upgrade to the Yeti I believe this will also be ideal.

Good for the price.
Gets the job done for me. The only thing I record is doing some game play videos. I do it just for me and the fun of doing it. Started out with headphone/mic, then went to a dedicated mic (Blue Ice). Right away didn't like having to keep my head right at my desk while recording. This solves that problem. Works fine with Blue Ice mic (mount swivels and can put mic on top or upside down on bottom). Seems sturdy enough for me. Stays in whatever position I put it at. Time will tell how l long it lasts, but for now and for the price, I like it.

Sturdy product
This is my second set but not from the same company. In the pictures I included a side by side comparison of the other one I have. It is evident that this one is more durable and more thought went into making it. The clamp also includes a thin sponge layer to avoid leaving marks on table or anywhere it’s clamped. The microphone holder also feel more solid as compared to the smaller one beside it in one of my pics above.

Holds some weight!
I'm using this to hold up both a Rode NT-USB microphone and a Pyle PSMRS08 Compact Microphone Isolation Shield, using the hardware that came with the Pyle kit. I was a bit worried about the amount of weight, but the arm works fine. I did follow the instructions to adjust the spring attachment point for larger weight, although even before I did this the arm performed fine. Now that it's done, I can leave the joints tight enough that nothing moves around on its own but loose enough that I can grab the mic and adjust it without having to turn any knobs on the scissor arm, which is great. By the way, as you can see in the picture, I have the microphone "upright." The arm also worked fine with it "upside down," I just like it better this way because I can see over the isolation shield when speaking into the mic. When I had it upside down, if my mouth was level with the mic then my eyes were staring into the dark abyss of the isolation foam, which was a bit claustrophobic. But since I need the isolation foam for my application (I'm not in a sound studio), this works out great.

Works Well
Using this product for an An Audio-Technica AT2020USB+. The mic wouldn't fit inside the cradle but using the mount that came with the mic you can attach it to the boom easily. I was able to run the cord through the center of the boom without too much fuss and the mount attaches well to my desk. Works great and I am really happy with the purchase.

Great mic book arm!
This is the second mic boom arm that I got from Amazon. The first one had plastic, YES plastic arms for the tension springs. This one DOES NOT!!! They are full metal from one side to the other. This even has an extra whole on the horizontal arm that allows you to move the tension spring screw out in the event that you setup is too heavy for it. This is an all metal construction, except for the knobs to tighten the axis points. I am please to say that this boom arm is well worth it. The mount for your desk/table is plenty wide. I have a think desk from Ikea and this fit nicely. I boom does not bounce when moving it either. I did not use the included mic holder as my Marantz MPM-2000U came with its own. I also did not need the extra threaded screw to attach this other mic holder. The only thing that is really missing is a clip or something to hold the mic wire down the arms. I used some of this velcro like tape that I got from the hardware store that was meant to hold Christmas lights onto things. Works well enough as I can slide the mic wire around as needed.

Top notch arm for Snowball with the 5/8" adapater
It's wonderful. It lets me get the Blue Snowball off of that terrible tiny stand, up off my desk and closer to my face when I want it - and push it away when I don't. It's also really easy to attach a standard pop filter on. I think I actually like this arm a lot more than some more expensive ones, like Blue's Compass. Where that one takes up a huge amount of space on my desk, this one I can push back into a nice compact unit away from me. Blue's just kind of swings around like Frankenstein's arm. This just seems to be more versatile to me than that. It's also a lot lighter. With the Compass, I tried putting it on several less stable pieces of furniture (my desk isn't great for clamps) and it totally toppled over (taking the furniture with it!) due to the weight. This one is so much lighter, but still sturdy, and I was able to affix it to waaay more stuff without having it fall over. And this is CHEAP AS HECK! It does lack a good shockmount, but even without it this hasn't been an issue for me. While there is one included, I don't even understand how it's supposed to work. I'm pretty sure it would not work with the Snowball, but maybe a thinner one?

Great Boom for Great Price; Be Sure You Know What You Need.
This mic boom is amazing and does everything it says! It was fairly easy to set up once I looked a bit more into the directions provided, which weren't the best and very much picture based. I will say that this mic boom is very very short and not intended to be clamped (I'll refrain from the word mounted as you do not need to drill a hole into the desk to mount it permanently) to the back of the desk and spun around towards your face. It very much will only fit around the side of the desk to be positioned towards your face. Now upon me figuring that out I grew a bit worried that it would not fit my desk as my sides have a metal edge with a lip so I was unsure if the unit would clamp correctly and if it would even stay up. Lucky for me the circular metal camp part goes under the desk instead of the much larger and complex shape made by the alloy steel. Now to address the issue of the Blue Yeti microphone and it working with this stand. I can tell you that you WILL need to get the version with the extra metal adapter as that shockproof microphone clip DOES NOT work with the Yeti. This was something that scared me too as well as I had read Yeti reviews that sometimes the hole needed for attaching it to a mic boom is sometimes poorly made by them and some of the holes are either not wide or big enough for mounting. Mine did not seem to have that problem which was a huge sigh of relief even though Yeti does carry a two year warranty for their products and would replace the mic with a new one for that problem. In the end this mic boom works like a charm for someone who has a loud keyboard and is a loud typer which was picking up with the original mic stand given by Blue for the Yeti. Now when I am in discord with friends playing a game and have to type to someone quickly. I can type to them and it no longer sounds like the fist of the gods raining down in the ear drums of my friends. I am sure they are happy. LOL

A good size and a good price
The mic stands used to cost like hundreds of dollars. Or well, I guess they still do but now we have options! this might be a bit smaller than the giant radio station ones but they're the perfect size for a desktop setup. The clamp is super sturdy and the little rubber pad on the bottom does a surprisingly good job of protecting the desk surface and providing vibration dampening for the mic. I use this with my heavy as heck AKG Perception 200 + Spider mount and it holds up no problems. It also includes a spider mount which isnt too bad but it just doesnt fit my mic. It may seem silly but my absolute favorite feature is the entire thing swiveling at the base. If I want it out of my way, just turn it. small features make a big difference and they added a lot of value for a mic stand in this price range. Well done.

Extremely good value for the dollar. More than most will ever need!
Works surprisingly well. The mount/clamp area is the revised version that all of the other Chinese brands are bragging about. It works really well. Be sure that your desk does not have an apron or coping that disallows the clamp to seat completely. Thats the only problem a person might have. The shock mount it comes with is nice enough and a welcomed touch, but most microphones will come with a better/metal one, and I recommend using that one if you can. Also, the shock mount has a small diameter opening. It can be adjusted to a larger size, but I assure you, you'll want to avoid that task. It's likely too small for most round bodied condenser microphones. Probably just right for many of the dynamic mics. It's strong. I have an MXL 770 attached to it currently and it acts as if it has nothing at all. I have not mounted a Blue Yeti to it, but I am confident it would hold it.
