I bought a used 2009 Altima that had been an undercover po-lice car and I guess getting in and out with kit on the guy tore some of the weather stripping. I couldn't find the stock weatherstripping -- and I'm sure it would be stupid expensive anyway -- so I bought a roll of this and blended it into the undamaged part of the door weatherstrip. Then I thought if a little is good, a lot should be great. So I followed the contour of the door and put another band of weatherstripping in and LET ME TELL YOU: thing is quiet as an E63 AMG S. No more wind noise. At some point I'll do the other doors, but first wanted to see if this would cut down wind noise and boy howdy it sure did.

The product is typical 3M with sufficient adhesive to hold them in place for a "very" long time. Received product quickly with a followup inquiry asking if their service was good. Don't mind taking the time to respond when something I buy works so well. I have had experience in an auto body shop so installation was a breeze.

I got this to augment the weather stripping on the back window of the hardtop on my CJ-7 and it worked great. It was easy to apply and the bond is nice and strong. Best of all it stopped water from coming in when it rained which is what it is supposed to do.

I got this to seal the gap around my front door on my house, and it did the job wonderfully. It's a bigger gap and I was concerned that regular weatherstripping wouldn't work. This did the trick.

What's not to like? I can cut strips of weather striping to the exact length that I need to seal the convertible top on my car for far less than what the manufacturer wants for the same thing.

No More Dings on the door edges or worry about scratching other's vehicles if the wind swings your door open and into another car parked near you! I have used this product before and it's the first thing I purchase for a new vehicle. It takes a bit of push - your forearms may get tired when installing, but it only takes a few minutes. I install it and then pull it back a couple inches when I come to the end (starting at the top of the edge I'm putting it on going to the bottom of the door), then just cut it with a good pair of sharp scissors. You don't need tin snips even with the thin aluminum strip that helps keep its rigidity. This package was enough for 2 vehicles if you're only putting it from the bottom of the window down to the bottom corner of the door. If the window does not reach the edge of the door, you can choose to stop it, but on my Chevy Colorado, the back-door edge is continuous - the window doesn't reach the edge of the door like on our Suburban or my old Cruze. Just for aesthetics I ran it all the way up the edge and down under the edge. I have used this product on 4 vehicles now and it has never failed - never come loose - never just held water or anything that would damage the door edge... when I sold my last car, I was curious if there would be residue, tree pollen/funk inside - nope - the door edge looked brand new! I also have not noticed any extra wind noise/whistle while driving and this is on the door. It fits PERFECTLY between that tiny gap between the doors - if you have pushed it all the way on the door edge, which can be a bit tiring especially when turning around seams along the edge - it handles turns (maybe not 90* turns, but gentle turns are ok) just fine.

I used these to take care of an undesirable whistling sound in my old winter beater. 3m backing works very well and stayed in place the first time. 32 feet is just about enough to do all 4 doors in my Corolla, but just barely. I'd recommend this to try over expensive oem style weather stripping, at least for a car that's not brand new.

I used this to seal the top and sides of my garage. Since putting in an air conditioner in my garage I noticed light coming in from around my garage door. I ordered 32 feet and have quite a bit left over to use elsewhere. Now no light, or hot air, is getting in my garage. Also it was packaged nice so it was not all stuck together like some other sellers. The directions for use are pretty funny. I added a photo of it.

Effective, price is friendly Rubber is well made. Clean the area first, then peel the red piece, give your car a little makeover. It does reduce the noise when you close the door. It does help to keep the inside temperature stable. Great!

Great product. Helped seal sound from highway.
