My stepdaughter says Amazon gift cards are THE Thing to give her children for any occasion. I used to go to great lengths to buy them the best books for their age ranges, which was a daunting task at best. Amazon advertised "purchase a Fit bit and get a free ...

Amazon advertised "purchase a Fit bit and get a free $50 giftcard" so i did it. Short story, I paid for the free gift card due to some technicality. After three previous, ascerted by Amazon reps, technicalities didn't stick, I finally got tired on about the fourth possible reason and just quit trying. This is not a shade throwing message; at least not a conventional one. Thank you, Amazon! Your "fine print" broke the spell on me. I can now take my little money and save it. We still have a relationship but we gonna be healthier about it, babe.

Fixing A Christmas Mistake

This year I bought everything on what I thought was my son’s Wish List. When he opened the first gift he looked at me and asked why I bought him the gist he just opened, I told him it was on his wish list. It soon became apparent that I bought all of the gifts on another man’s wishlist that had the same name as my son...I ruined Christmas for two people. Thankfully, everything was Prime purchases and refunds were swift.
