Easy setup - Works great with Apple Homekit

I don’t understand all of the bad product Reviews for this. I bought 3 of them to make my entire apartment smart controlled and they work great! Took less then 20 minutes to set all of the smart outlets up and get them connected to my Apple homekit. They work just as advertised and are definitely worth the money. People said they had trouble connecting? Not me. People said they had to re-connect if the power goes out? My power went out from the recent snow storm and as soon as the power came back they all re-connected to the network without me having to move a finger. Maybe they released a new software update that fixed everyone’s issues? Either way I plan to buy more!

Reliable switch!

These were installed and working very quickly and like my previous WeMo switches are reliable! I wish there were more configuration options because like my previous WeMo’s I had to make multiple attempts at installing before the switches appeared in the WeMo app or Apple HomeKit app. I’m not sure why but some switches appear in the WeMo app while others appeared in the HomeKit app.

Love WEMO and these guys are great

Got so I could sync a number is electric Xmas decorations and using the WEMO app to setup a rule for on/off times it worked perfectly. Very happy. Now using around the house for rest of the year. Best part is they can handle the full load of what ever you plug into them. Rated for 15 amp, 110 Volt, normal convenience outlet.

Great Item

I have reptiles, and some of the cages are stacked and really difficult to reach to turn the lights on and off. I purchased this to control the heat lights in their cages. Easy to install, and quick to set up. It also connects to my Alexa, so I can just use voice commands to turn the lights on and off.

It Works!

I just received and installed the two Wemo mini plugs. Setup went smooth. I did notice that you have to disconnect your phone from your home Wifi and then reconnect it to the Wifi of the mini plug after which you can run the Wemo app . This allows you to configure the mini plug. In the mini plug setup it will then have you later connect it to your home wifi. I have a NEEO remote which just started supporting WEMO switches and plugs. I have the remote working controlling the Wemo plug. So far so good. Let's see how it's going in a month Update: The plugs are working great, no issues. I just added a bluetooth receiver to my stereo but it doesn't have an on off switch. The second plug works great to control the power to the bluetooth receiver.

Safety product and ease of use.

I have found these connectors to be almost a necessity at my house. It gives me the ability to turn on lights or other connected items when I am home or away from home. I can turn lights on or off making this a safety feature while I’m away from the house. Also gives my fur babies some security as I can see them better when lights are on during the night and I check my home cameras. So far I have not had any issues with them.

Love this product

Love this product. The hardware and iOS software were easy to set up. What took a little time was linking it with my Echo and Echo Dot. only because this was a first time for me and I didn't realize I had to set up a Smart Home Group on the Alexa app. Once that is done the first time, adding more devices to the app is a snap. I have one Wemo using the timer feature while the other is just for Alexa voice activation. The one on timer still responds to random voice commands to turn the lamp on and off via Alexa also. I chose this version of the Wemo because I wanted to still be able to use the second outlet.

Very satisfied with these outlets

I have 3 Wemo Mini outlets, I set them up about 3 weeks ago. Since then I have had zero issues with them, they work every time I ask Alexa to turn them on or off. They have come back online without any human intervention after an electrical outage and also after a router reboot. I see a lot of negative reviews but I have honestly had no issues and would recommend them. I wish Wemo made an outdoor smart outlet but I haven't been able to find one.

WONDERFUL!!

These Wemo plugs are GREAT! I use them with my amazon Alexa Echo Dot to control my bedside table lamps. Just be careful if you buy them to turn your tv on and off because my tv is old enough that it doesn't work with my Echo Dot but it is new enough where if the power is cut from the television and the tv is on, when power is restored, it automatically goes into the off position. That's the only downfall. Other than that, these plugs turn just about anything "smart"!

Love these things!!!

Love these. Very simple to install and connect to. If you know how to change a light switch and/or receptacle, you'll be able to install this replacement. Be sure you have bot neutral and ground wire in outlet. Simply the easiest thing I've ever connected to our network. Follow the 4 simple steps EXACTLY and you will have no problem. We've already scheduled some automation for the lights and my spouse has downloaded and connected to my set up. These are so great that we have ordered additional plugs plus a handful of single pull light switches.
