This nifty little gadget can be heard over most instruments you can blow at it. I knew it was small when I ordered it, but I was a bit worried when it arrived because it is TINY. No worries. It's loud AF. Kinda like Will Smith's "Noisy Cricket" gun in Men In Black. (Yeah. I said it.) My daughter is practicing a lot of jazz and blues these days, and we can hear the metronome clearly over her (LOUD!) playing. It's also very simple and easy to use. My pianist kid loves technology and likes to goof off when there's tons of features. Fortunately there are just the right amount of features on this little metronome to not distract her too much from her piano playing. She loves it. The instructions are, like many imported items, written in broken English, but anybody who has a shake of music sense will be able to get around that. The battery was easy to install. Give it a try. You might want to don some noise-canceling earphones at first.... (I jest. But still. It's loud.)

I like the fact that the volume has 3 levels, and that the metronome can be used silently with a flashing LED light.

This small metronome clips easily onto my music stand. It produces a series of bleeps in a range of time signatures. I turned the volume down a tad from max and now the timing and sound are perfect for my practice sessions. People have complained about beeps rather than clicks, but having the accent on the first beat of a timing sequence is great - you don't get that with clicks. In all a good little unit more than adequate for your practice regime.

My daughter uses this for her anxiety. The beeping sound is just what she has been looking for. It is mini but it is loud! I love the fact that it had a headphone jack so I don't have to hear it as well. She puts a bud in one ear only and can still hear everything going on around her while listening to the beeps(helps steady her anxiety).

What I like most about it is easy to use! It is small and compact, just the right size. I have been using it for my drum lessons. I have started taking drum lessons, and needed a metronome to help with my counting and rhythm. It really helps. I would highly recommend this product. Even though its not very big, it still is great.

Using this to help a runner gradually increase his cadence to 180. It is quick and easy to use, and attaches nicely to the brim of the running cap where it is easy to turn on and off between intervals. The volume can be made quite loud, or adjusted down to reasonably quiet. It would also work well attached to shorts, if the runner preferred that.

For what you pay, this is a good metronome. I purchased it to have in my first aid pack at work should I ever need to perform CPR. It is nice to have something that can be set for 110 bpm keep you at the correct pace. Keep in mind that this device is made out of plastic and will not stand up to heavy use (or abuse). If you need something that you can throw in a case and expect to work over and over again this may not be what you want. If you want something that you can clip to your kids' music stand and leave in place then this may be the choice for you. From a use perspective, it has an on/off button that you hold down for 2-3 seconds to turn the device on. After you have it turned on, the select button (upper left) is used to cycle through the functions of the device. The up/down arrows allow you to select the setting that you want. One thing I noticed with my device is that it does not retain the volume setting when powering down (it does retain other settings). So if you had it set at a low volume, you may need to readjust before pressing the start button.

It keeps time and it is very easy to use and it is inexpensive. What's not to like? It has a distinctive "chirp", so you know it when you hear it and don't confuse it with anything else. I like it.

My family uses this for music practice and we were surprised at how tiny it is and how loud it can go for its tiny size. It has subdivisions and the clip is really convenient. Instructions were clearly written by someone who speaks English as a second language but it’s not too complicated to figure out.

I purchased this metronome because I didn't need something with a ton of features I'd never use. This one is simple, inexpensive and easy to use. It gives you both audible and visual (flashing LED) cues to follow and has an earbud jack so you don't need to annoy anyone around you. It also comes with a battery which is a nice touch.
