- Perfectly suited for your garden and for people not wanting to mix the organic waste in their traditional compost bin
- You can put it together in about 30 mins, 45 mins or 60 mins, depending on your speed; Easy to turn barrel, waste mixed easily, fast batch composting
- 43 gallon capacity, you can put in: eggshells, coffee grinds, banana peels, palm fronds, leaves or others that according to the composting instruction

GREAT KIT!!!!
OK... so assembly is required and if you are not visual and don't intuit well from pictures this may be a challenge, but it is a GREAT composter. Be patient and don't rush through the assembly. Learn from my mistake...along with lining up the holes in each panel make sure that you have all the tabs in the holes as well or the panel won't make a flat seam. The hardest part for me was getting the middle panel to seat...but if you do it as the instructions tell you it should be fine. My kit came with 60 screws and nuts to satisfy the 56 needed for assembly ( and these nuts are directional so you need to screw them on with the spin washer toward the screw). It took about 2.5 hours to assemble. I might have been faster if I hadn't needed to redo some of the seams. I have already started using it. THRILLED with the purchase. it rotates smoothly, looks good and is well designed.

Fairly easy to put together and seems to be working quite well
Took a little while to put together, but not that bad. Used it as a fun Saturday morning project. Pretty clear instructions. Needed another pair of hands at the end. So far, I'm filling and spinning my compost bin every other day or so. It's starting to fill up a bit, after about 3 weeks of use. Instructions on composting were pretty clear, but I did a little investigation on my own, too. Hoping this works because it's pretty easy and you'd be surprised how much veggie waste one family creates that isn't going into the landfill because of this compost bin. UPDATE: Photos are from my first batch of compost in fall 2018. Worked great and garden is just now coming back to life for spring 2019!

I really like this composter
I really like this composter. It spins very easily, and it's stand is stable enough that it hasn't budged an inch in the 60 mph winds we've been having lately. I do wish the door openings were a little larger however, that would make filling it a little easier. Still, that's a minor thing.

perfect for a family of 2
For years I composted with 2 large bins, often with open tops, dry steer manure as a booster, and a consequent crop of flies and gnats. With our new house we say NO to flies of any form, and ordered this compost tumbler. It's small, adequate for a household of 2 people. In less than 3 months it produced rich, crumbly compost in the 1st bin, while working on the 2nd batch in the other half. When both sides of the bin are nearly full it is difficult to rotate, but it will still function. Today I emptied the 1st half, and now it will tumble more easily for a while. When I take a bag of collected compost out I add a scoop of dirt and roll it around in the bag to coat kitchen scraps in dirt, then turn into the tumbler. This minimizes exposed organic matter, mixes wet-dry material, and has controlled flies and gnats. The EJWOX does not take on water, even in our heavy summer rains. Emptying the finished compost is easy with a qt size carton from my plastic recycle bin, much easier than with a shovel or trowel. A few pieces of corn cob were not yet finished and went into the other bin, providing some compost starter as well. Once winter arrives I may need to adjust the system until it warms up in spring. It's all good.

A nice, compact design that holds a lot of waste.
Well constructed and the parts fit together nicely. You'll need long arms or a helper to get the last few panels installed. My only issue was that the assembly instructions were not real clear on which way the baffle in the middle is installed and I certainly could not tell by looking at it - either way didn't seem to fit. Otherwise a nice composter with enough volume to handle a surprising amount of waste. Assembly hint: take advantage of the self locking nuts and thread the nuts on until they touch the plastic, then you can turn the screws without having to hold the nut.

The assembly wasn't too bad. My husband put it together in about 30 minutes. The instructions were pretty vague, but follow the pictures. They're pretty spot-on.

I'm Very Happy With This!
I love this. I'm very glad that I didn't get anything smaller than 43 gallons. I took my time when assembling and it was easy to put together. The box that it came in was a good size, not huge as I expected. It seems to be breaking this down. I put kitchen scraps, a little peat moss, chicken manure and a small amount of compost starter. The temperature has been at around 100 degrees. It must aerate well because the compost doesn't ever smell bad, it smells good, in fact, if you like that rich compost-y smell. I'd like to have a larger one. I think the price is fair.

It's not as difficult to assemble as people have stated!
I kept passing over this one for weeks given everyone's reviews of difficulty assembling. It's tedious but by no means difficult. I had it assembled solo in less than an hour.

Good for the garden!
I might buy a second one for myself. My mom assembled this all by herself so it must not have been too complicated. Started assembly using a flat blade screwdriver and a 3/8 socket wrench. 56 little bolts for all the plastic panels; assembly went well ; about 45 minutes total time. the illustrated manual was sufficient for the assembly of the composter. Once assembled the composter is a sturdy unit and should provide many years of service. The manual has some info on composting procedures which are helpful.
