Fits perfectly in my streaming setup for twitch. I connect this mic to a usb hub that has a 20 foot extender cable to my PlayStation and plug in the mic a led face light and charge stuff off it. This mic lets me talk to my PS4 buddies and capture their audio with my elgato hd60 without having a headset connected or complicated mic game link cable setup that is a hassle. This was an awesome buy check me out on twitch names Stubakka

I love it especially for the price. Only complaint is that is lightweight and I have a bunch of junk on the desk and I keep knocking the microphone off. But I can find a way to secure it better. I use it mostly for emails. It has some problems with some text boxes such as the instant message AND reply boxes on Facebook. I need to bring up a dictation window (included with the microphone software) speak my message and then click transfer to put it right back in the IM text box ( or reply box) Then I can click Send and all is well. I'd love to be able to just put my cursor in the IM text box and start talking but it gets hung up. Might be a Facebook problem and other Mike's might do the same.

Works great. Definitely a "Plug and Play" Frequency response is great - sensitivity is excellent. Good for most telecommunication tasks. Control is straightforward - excellent product.

Works like a charm, and the quality is great. I use it to record YouTibe tutorials for Solid works.

I've been using this microphone for like a month now, using it only for casual purposes. No Twitch streaming / YouTube videos. I mainly use it to talk to my friends on Discord. Overall, this is a good and easy to use microphone for casual users. Anything other than casual though, and you might want to increase your budget. The microphone is incredibly easy to set up, and use. Its functions are extremely basic (Good thing!!), well thought out, and practical. The base of the microphone consists of a single Mute On/Off switch on the top. This button is well-placed and allows you to mute your microphone easily and quickly. The side of the microphone has the switch that turns the lights on and off. I personally have the lights switched off because they sometimes annoy my eyes. Again, this is just me personally, all users have different preferences! The sound quality of this microphone is acceptable. Not bad, and not perfect at the same time. None of my friends have complained about the sound of the microphone. It gets the job done! Thanks to CMTECK for making such a great Microphone! Cheers!

Pretty awesome desk microphone. This is my second desk microphone, (first one was fifine's usb desk mic) and so far i like this one much better. Its a bit awkward looking but I do like the base's design with a green LED for when it is picking up audio and red when muted. The three blue LED's are just cosmetic but do guide you to the mute button above them in a dark room which is nice. The device has a good amount of weight to it so it won't be knocked over if you accidentally hit it or something. As for the microphone itself, testing in quite a few different call applications and constant use for several weeks now and I have no problems whatsoever. I don't have any distance tests to see how much it picks up but for a room with quite a bit of background noise and a mechanical keyboard which is super clicky, no one has complained about the noise from all that and has stated i sound clear. Only complaint i have is that when my computer is off, the status LED turns off but the three blue LED strips stay on. Doesn't really cause any physical problems but its odd. TL;DR I recommend this mic if you have headphones already and are just looking for an affordable microphone. It doubt its streamer quality but it does the job well enough with no problems on my end. Probably gonna buy this as a gift for my sister since she needs a new mic for Christmas.

This is a very functional USB microphone; easy installation and decent vocal quality as I speak with peoples all over the Globe and in different time zones. My friend who lives in Tasmania Australia, can hear me with clarity as though I am just in the next room or right there! I like the flexible goose neck the microphone is mounted upon! The neck is pretty flexible and sturdy meaning it holds its place. I needed a replacement for my old Logitech microphone which use to run $39.99 but for whatever reason, can not find one for less than $100.00! Supply and Demand I guess, plus it was a quality device, but would not pay $100.00 to replace it. CMTECK seems to be a good value for the money', good for basic Skype, Webcamming, or recording audio from your desktop. The devices base is sturdy and solid enough to keep the unit firmly on your work desk. The single mute button on the unit will toggle but you need to really push, not a touchscreen plunger button but made well enough to last with normal use. Beside the "trigger" pull is resistant enough that your cat will not just active it if it walks over the unit, which is good! OVERRALL PROS: 1. Decent audio recording/transmission quality (Voice/Sound) 2. USB connection, meaning the microphone is full-duplex, which translates into Tx/Rx simultaneously broadcasts while you receive from transmission from your client/host source. Most USB-based Microphones these days are full-duplex by default! 3. Best value for the money, sturdy constructs, will not break into a 100 pieces if it accidently falls to the floor or is knocked over, (Just don't spike it! ;)) 4. The flexible goose-neck design allows for user comfort and holds it place well. CONS: 1. Buttons, and switches could have been designed with better placement on the chassis of the unit. 2. No physically adjustable Volume/Gain/Input control on the unit, ,all that is software controlled through your system. 3. No separate stereo audio jack/port to plug or extend attachments or other devices. 4. The base of the unit could use a bit more ergonomic thought behind it, the triangular shape my look nice, but it makes it a bit awkward on a desktop or surface area with limited space. Not really practical to take it on the road like if you go to a Coffee house, yougart bar etc where you have coffee cups and computer stuff competing for table space. Besides this unit will most likely eat your battery capacity alive, if your system is not plugged into a power supply! So portability is limited. Conclusion: I would buy this unit again given the price, just under $20,, however would look elsewhere if the price went to $25 or even $30 bucks. But still happy with my purchase.

Pros of this product: -It is a low-cost microphone with surprising sound quality -The LED indicators and such work without any drivers, making it very apt for plug and play -It has a surprisingly good build quality for its price -Directing the microphone is not required, as it is sensitive enough that aiming away it can still pick up something, but it is not so sensitive that turning the microphone away from a noise source (such as speakers) won't work Fun quirk(s): -If one places their mouth near the microphone and breathes in, a whistling sound can be made Cons: -It has noticeable lines from fabrication -The material surrounding the microphone is plastic, and as such it reflects a *marginal* amount of light Overall recommendation: This is a wonderful microphone to buy if you do not need the absolute best in a microphone. Frankly, the sound quality is high enough that I would only suggest skipping out on it if you either a) don't have enough USB ports or b) absolutely need a studio-quality mic.

I am learning to use Speech Recognition on my computer. I purchased this mic and found that the length of the cable is excellent, the mic is stable on my computer table and i like the mute feature. This mic is very responsive. I have it connected to a 7 port usb hub that has an on'/off button at each port. When I turn it off window shows "OFF" and when I turn if on the mic defaults to either "listening" or "sleeping" depending where it was when turned off. This makes it very convenient that it virtually is not turned on full time and eliminates the need to plug and unplug the cable. I know I made a good choice. - Bobby Blue
