Excellent, light-weight book light

We have had numerous book light, but never one like this one. All previous lights were both heavy and not that bright. This one, because it recharges, solves that problem. It clamps easily on the book without pulling it one way or another and it definitely offers 3 different light levels that are very helpful when reading. I haven't had it long enough to determine how long or how well the battery recharges, but the initial feedback report is very, very good. We are not just "living with" this light, but actually enjoying it. If anything changes, we'll update this report.

We read every night to our almost 3yr Old, and propping up the iPhone flashlight was getting really old. This is PERFECT! there are three brightness levels and we usually can get away with the lowest level (some days my old eyes with small print need the middle one). My daughter loves the “flashlight” and it’s now a required part of our nightly routine. Great purchase for a great price.

Absolutely love this little booklight! I use it for my embroidery and it clips right onto the hoop and doesn't weigh much. The little neck has good reach and the three light modes are more then enough for my late night crafting, plus it curls up nicely and fits in my pencil bag! Oh, and it's also been just over a week since I got my package, and it's still running strong on the charge it came with out of the box!!

Bought it for my son to take to camp and thought I would get it when he returned but I’m sure I will have to order my own because he’s not giving it up! Update: the lamp came back from camp and I have used it myself now. Best. Book. Light. Ever.

This book light does just what it's supposed to do -- provides clean, clear light for reading. Whether I just need a little more light in the living room or need to fully illuminate my page for reading in the dark with sleeping hubby beside me -- it works very well. Recharging is fast and power lasts quite a long time between chargings. I've bought a dozen book lights in my life and this is one that will finally last a while. Thank you for making a quality product.

Purchased for reading in bed. I didn't want to have to run an extension cord to get a light up to a bunk bed, so this was the perfect solution. Lasts a decent amount of time before needing a recharge. Does not come with a charger, but we have plenty around from phones, etc. I purchased this particular light because I wanted something with the warm LED -- I feel this is much easier on the eyes at night than the cool white. I also appreciate that there are a few options for brightness.

I don't read in bed but I like some extra light on my books when I'm just on the couch reading. In any case, the light is great. What is good: The light seems sturdy and the clip strong enough to stay on you book but not so tight as to damage it. The light has 3 settings for light intensity. I use the lowest and middle settings only as I find the highest setting too bright. The quality of the light is good and diffuse enough to illuminate an open 7"x9" book across both pages without drastic gradients in brightness or repetitive adjustments. The light has a warm (yellowish rather than blue) color and stays cool to the touch. I have read complaints that the gooseneck can loosen with time to the point it moves on its own. However, for now it works well and is stable. There are two charge indication LESs to indicate the charge level when the unit is plugged in and charging. What could be better: There is a single on/off/ brightness adjustment button. My only complaint is that if I were to pack this in a bag, it would be difficult to keep the button from being pressed on and the battery running out. Overall I give this five stars. It is not perfect, but it is as good of a book light as I have ever seen and certainly worth the $13 paid.

Rechargeable adjustable light with multiple adjustments.

It's rechargeable. It has a great flexible extension on it. I've had others that don't have a long enough extension so I can't really see the bottom of the page. Not a problem with this one.

Combines everything good about book lights into one design!

I've been using book lights since the "itty bitty booklight" came out years ago. I try virtually any light that comes out. The LuminoLite 3000K has put together in one book light everything that is good about previous individual lights. The light is soft, like a good incandescent light. It's also bright like an LED (and it has 3 settings for adjusting to ambient lighting). The design allows full light for a whole page (other lights fade towards the bottom of a page). No special charger is needed: It uses a micro USB. Finally, the adjustable neck is "soft," It is easily adjusted to the optimal position. This is a great gift for students going back to school. A perfect book/night light! Highly recommended

UPDATED REVIEW: Not just a book light...

...a grill light, a work light, a light for just about anything. This is a great little book light: It is perfect for reading, and the 3 brightness modes are great for reading in bed beside my wife or when the ambient light in the room doesn't require full brightness. I have charged the light one time since my purchase, and we've yet to need a second charge (after a few weeks). I actually used it in the late winter while grilling to be able to see my grill surface (the adjustable clip can accommodate nearly anything). For so many reasons, I would say this little book light is a winner. Happy reading...or grilling...or whatever. UPDATE: This little light is amazing: We ordered in January, we use this nearly every evening for short bedtime reading, and we also use it in various ways as described in the main review, but we have yet to charge it for a 2nd time. Four months of use without a 2nd charge. Just exceptional. We did a full charge after receipt in January, and we tend to read on the low or medium setting, but even at that I would have expected monthly charging. Great little light.
