Great texture and mannequin to learn on!!!!

The hair really mimics kinky blow dryed hair. I did a deep conditioning treatment on the hair and a hard press and came out just like natural pressed hair. The hair was very thick and coarse and had to be pressed in small sections to achieve this silk press look. Great unit to learn on!!!

Wanted to learn to cornrow

I bought this doll to learn to cornrow and it served its purpose well. I should probably go ahead and sell it now since I purchased it a year ago and have been cornrowing my own hair ever since. The hair does have a bit of a plasticky smell. Not much shedding and feels like kinky-straight/yaki texture. I never used heat, products, or washed the dolls hair because I never needed to.

Perfect For Practice!

I love love love it! I didn't find any bald spots and the head is full of awesome afro kinky textured hair. This mannequin is perfect for me to practice creating braid styles. It did shed a little bit but not to much. I definitely recommend this and will be purchasing more!

I ordered this to practice hairstyles and veil attachment for my upcoming wedding. The product was delivered quickly and in perfect condition. For synthetic hair, it is very silky and smooth! There is plenty of length to play with and the included stand was icing on the cake.

Great for cosmetology students

Love this mannequin. I really like the texture of the hair too. It's a little more coarse then most mannequins. To me it's a better ethnic mannequin than the ones that are made to simulate ethnic hair types. It feels like ethnic hair that's been relaxed. There was some shedding, but that's to be expected. I'm in cosmetology school right now, so practicing haircutting is key. I'll be able to do at least 6 haircuts, which is awesome. I will be buying more.
