WOW!! AMAZING!!

I received these about two weeks ago and let me tell you...they are AMAZING!! I’ve tried different mills for a few years but these greatly surpass THEM ALL!!! They are constructed with quality materials and their design is unlike any I’ve seen elsewhere. I’m married to an engineer so rest assured, I know a good design when I see it. Prior ones I’ve used have ‘thin wires’ from the motor housing down into the ‘product cup’ for the light. These are very easily damaged or move out of place as a they’re not covered, they extend down into the cup where the product itself is located allowing more displacement. The ‘contacts’ are also a joke!! Not so with Flafster products! As you can see in the photo, the wires are encased and the contacts are located in the ‘Iid’ that ‘screws’ down onto the motor housing allowing good contact and operation. They even give you detailed instructions and demonstrate how to install batteries as well as how to make sure there’s good contact...along with troubleshooting tips should anything go wrong. They also give you contact info for any questions and affirm their dedication to the consumer. I can’t say enough about this company...I honestly believe they back their products and will go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction with their products!

I love kitchen gadgets. I take a lot of kidding from my family because I buy so many of them. The other day I am sitting down to dinner and I needed to use the salt and pepper shakers. I looked at them and said there has to something better. So I started looking around and discovered the Jovial Kitchen Battery Operated Salt and Pepper Grinders. What a find. Everyone that has used them has loved them. My Wife and I wouldn't be without them. We where going to visit family in North Carolina so I ordered 3 sets to give as presents. They were also crazy about them, there was a problem! One of the units was defective. I contacted Jovial, explained the problem and within 3 days they sent me a new one. I highly recommend the Jovial Company and their Salt and Pepper Grinders. I will be buying more of these at Christmas time.

I bought the set as a gift for my grandmother and she loves it! It was difficult for her to use manual grinders as her hands hurt and are getting weak. I knew the battery operated salt and pepper grinder set would be perfect for her as it requires one-hand operation and the button is very easy to press. Another bonus is that she does not oversalt her meals anymore! Her eyesight is not the best as you can imagine and the integrated light definitely helps! The grinders come with a very nice packaging which makes it the perfect gift!

Plus, we all know that the freshly grinded seasonings are waaay better! It comes in a cute box and instructions manual (although you don`t really need it) which makes it perfect for gifting

Great set of salt/pepper grinders!!

What can I say but this product is top notch. It works great, its stylish, and the s.s. holder looks great on my dinning room table. I also like the rubber caps at the bottom of each grinder , so when not in use they will keep the moisture out. The light is strong, no flicker, easy to see amount of salt or pepper being distributed on your food. The adjustment for the fine/course setting is a snap. There are more expensive grinder sets out there, but none of this quality and ease of operation. Buy them, you can't go wrong!

The best I've used

I typically don't write reviews, conversely, I ENDLESSLY THANKFUL to those of you who do. That being said, when it comes to these battery-operated grinders I HAD to write. Over the years, I've invested in 4 pair of these. The first 3 were the same high-end brand, at least $90/pair, 2 pair for me, one for my mom. I tried to keep these older models working by routinely scraping off the corrosion on the battery compartments. My BF grew tired of watching this and bought me a 4th, different brand from Amazon but I quickly grew tired of the anemic grinding even with new batteries installed. Plus their LED lights only work sporadically - VERY frustrating to say the least. These grinders are superior in every way. First, they are the FIRST to redesign the battery compartment so it is separate from where the salt or pepper are added. Plus they further protect the battery compartment from moisture by designing the battery compartment to be more moisture proof. The grinding power is FABULOUS, the lights always work and the adjustment for the grinder is very easy to get to and use. In short, I couldn't be happier. I know you will be too.

Every kitchen must have it. Great quality

I was skeptical when I ordered the salt n pepper grinders as I have used electric grinders before, but I was pleasantly surprised! Unlike other grinders, you don`t need to take apart the whole grinder to refill the container or change the batteries. Another feature that distinguishes this grinder from the rest is the big neck of the condiment container- no more spills! The stand it comes with is stainless steel unlike the plastic ones that other sellers offer. The benefits are: It is way more stylish It actually holds your grinders and they won`t trip over all the time! The light makes it great for romantic dinners when the lights are dimmed so no more salty steaks for me! The grinders also came with very easy to follow instructions, although honestly, the product is very simple to work with! And, the packaging box is awesome so it makes it a great gift!

Salt and Pepper Chrome Stand

I like the operation and style of both battery operated shakers so far, but just received these the other day... biggest issue and reason for 3 stars was the fact the chrome stand for the shakers was bent and damaged upon receipt... the box they came in wasn't damaged so I'm confused why the stand was bent??? Disappointed by this as I really bought this set because of the stand feature! UPDATE; I changed my rating to 5 stars... without asking I was sent a brand new set including a NON bent stand. I'm very impressed with the customer service and operation of this product! Many thanks for making this purchase right!!!

they look great and I felt it would be a great addition ...

I was really excited about these, they look great and I felt it would be a great addition to my kitchen. BUT, I bought these in March and it is now July and STILL I cannot get them to grind properly! I get a bit of salt from the pink Himalayan, but who wants to stand there for 30 min. to get a pinch! The peppercorns....well, I still haven't been able to get them to grind period. So, looks good, but just sits there. Seems others have had better luck than me! Addition to my review: After posting this review I received a credit on my account for these! I did NOT ask for one, but they gave it to me. Then I received a new set in the mail and a letter apologizing for the item not functioning correctly. How very wonderful that a company is that vigilant concerning their products. I changed my stars to 5, because with the new ones and carefully following battery instructions....they BOTH work very well.

Great small business.

I owe Jovial Kitchen some money. Returned them after they stopped working, refund accepted and paid by Amazon. Then I got a package from JK with a new set and a personal letter. Same thing happened, they worked then stopped. But did some trouble-shooting, seems my rechargeable AA batteries are wider than a normal AA, and they fit in tight and as a result the spring could not push up the battery to contact the lid. Regular AA batteries inserted and they work fine. The factory probably needs to widen the tube a little so rechargeables can fit. Great small business! I'd llike to pay for the replacement set.
