Just got back from our cruise on Carnival and they work like a charm! As others have noted, a problem with these -- and all the others, so don't take this as a negative -- is that after a few days with a laser-printed luggage tag inserted in the unit, the ink will end up "sticking" and leaving an imprint. I've tried soaking it overnight in soap and water and that doesn't help. The only thing that works is scraping the adhered black ink off with my fingernail. I think I'll just toss the four that we used away and not reuse them. I'll use the remaining four tags for our next cruise. At this price they're still well worth it even if you end up using them only once per cruise.

Works for both Carnival and Royal

Buy these whether you travel Carnival or Royal Caribbean. These bigger ones will hold the smaller tags for Royal without a problem. Do you really care that there will be extra space at the sides? I don't. If you do then get the smaller ones but realize that you will not be able to use them for the bigger tags (and most cruise lines use the bigger tag). I rather have the "universal" use of the bigger ones than go out and buy two separate sets. So when I got these I immediately checked to make sure there were no problems. All my tags were sealed at the sides and bottom, all the zip lock closures worked, all the steal loops closed and threaded properly. The plastic feels very thick and doesn't seem like they will fall apart. I haven't used them yet (although I did print up my Royal Caribbean tags and inserted them already) but I will shortly. I know that some have complained that the metal grommets came off and I'm hopeful that will not happen. If they do come off, I plan to reinforce the area with clear packing tape. The reason I bought these is that on my last cruise tour where my luggage was being handled many times during our "land portion" I had to reinforce the tags because they were ripping. It's a pain to go to the front desk to get tape or a stapler, go to the room, fix it and then return to the front desk again to return the items. Plus who wants to carry tape and or a stapler when you are at the airport? I have enough crap to carry, I don't need anything extra thank you. If you cruise often (I love to cruise, hubby not as much) these are worth the investment. In fact if someone you know is going on a cruise and you would like to get them something in addition to the bottle of champagne in the cabin these make a nice add on and not too expensive.

If you cruise the only safe choice is Luggage Etags, Durable Plastic Pouch that holds your eticket

Paper or Plastic which would you choose to protect your suitcase? We are family of cruises, always looking to make our trips safe & easy. Since we started printing our tickets on line and had to staple them to our suitcase. I was not comfortable stapling paper to my suitcase, so i took my luggage tag and taped around it and attached it on my suitcase. ??? what if it rained??? what if it got torn off ??? what if??? I don't want to take a chance my suitcase getting lost. One day I was searching on Amazon for travel gadgets I found this amazing looking Plastic Zip Luggage Tags. I was so excited I no longer have to tape the heck out my tags. After printing my luggage tags on line I folded it and placed in the Etag Holders also comes with wire & screw closeure *** PLEAS READ -> Now there few different sizes for different ships I bought the large one cause I can use it for most cruise lines. It works great, I feel happy that my suitcase won't get lost.... Bonus Tip: when your not cruising you can use it to put your personal information in it........

These were great. One did manage to get snapped off from the time we dropped our luggage with the baggage captain at the port of Miami and when it arrived in our cabin, but all the others stayed in tact and did a great job! Love em.

Buy these to stop worries about paper tags being torn and lost

Seems to be very heavy duty. I have 2 cruises booked for 2016, so I will see how they hold up. Only negative thing is they should have come with some sort of instructions, but, was easy to figure out. I printed out a luggage tag. It slid right in and then I sealed, sort of like a ziplock bag, but, way more thicker. Doubt that any moisture could get in. Then I tested the wire loops. They seem very sturdy and sure beats the way I usually have to do it. I used to use clear packing tape, to reinforce the paper tags that I print out. This product will not need any tape. I feel these will hold up over a long length of time and are worth purchasing.

Cruise Lines use these specific tags, which is why I purchased them. My luggage got to its destination coming and going without these tags being torn off, so I guess they fulfilled their purpose. To be SPECIFIC: these tags will fit ALL CRUISE LINES that create a 8.5 X 11-inch printout of the luggage tags which is then folded in THIRDS (along the 11-inch length) and then folded in HALF to fit into the holder. The tags are transparent on both sides, so that the printed information can be seen on both sides and in both languages.

The perfect luggage tags (especially if going on a Carnival cruise)

We were headed on our first cruise through Carnival, and based on the reviews, decided to purchase these tags. They were absolutely perfect! They perfectly fit the Carnival luggage tickets that you can print out. We loved the thick plastic, but even more than that was the metal clasp that these tags use. They screw together on one end so we were not at all worried about them falling off or breaking. So glad we got them. Obviously, we can't say how well they fit other cruiselines' luggage tickets, but regardless, the durability of these tags make them a good fit for just about any travel situation. Order received on time and in perfect working order

Order received on time and in perfect working order. Our cruise tag was slightly longer than the plastic (the tag was sent from the charter company and not a cruise line). I could have cut it off just a bit to be able to securely close the zip lock at the top of the holder but it wasn't necessary. It was snug in the holder without an issue the entire trip. The plastic is very strong and durable. The wire attachment was very strong and easy to attach to luggage handles and the closure never came loose even a bit. They were in perfect shape after our trip (look brand new) and we will be using them again in the future. Very happy with this purchase. Would recommend this product.

Ok these are Amazing! Just what I needed for my cruise on Carnival. They are secure and my IPhone6s can fit perfect in it also. Great price and can be refuse too! Highly recommend
