Perfect for the diyer

Replacement digitizer was a perfect fit and easy to install. The adhesive provided is good but for a flawless install follow directions and look up YouTube videos. As with life the amount of work you put in provides a better outcome. Don’t rush the job and blame it on the product

Works fine

Installed in 2 hours .spent most of the time to remove the broken glass and cleaned the trim . the actual installation to the new glass took less than 1/2 hours. Connectors and glass fit on fine. There is a unnoticeable 1/64" gap on one side after the installation completed which doesn't bother me. The glass appears clear and function well. The pre mounted home button is nice but some how not flat on the bottom side when touch. Please note there is no tools included in this kit which I saved a few dollars. I will get this again if I need one in the future.

I bough this screen for my iPad. it was my first time buying and fixing this kind of device so I didn't have any clue so when I received the screen I didn't put any attention on the small wiring is so thin that you ever notice any damage. My advice to you inspected carfully before you open the package. iPad Air Gen 1 touch screen removal caution not to cut internal antenna like I did.

Fortunately, my iPad Air display screen was not broken. Only the outside touch screen glass was shattered. A much lower cost part. The part purchased here works well so far and seems to be good quality. However, there is no instruction at all and that prompted me to write this review so other can avoid the one mistake I did. The iPad Air Gen 1 touch glass replacement was not hard but tedious. When removing the broken screen, be really careful not to cut into the antenna like I did in the picture. Using the box cutter to remove the old screen was easier to separate the glue but the large blade can accidentally cut into things. Keeping the cutting blade more retracted would reduce from unintentional cutting. The antenna are located in lower right and lower left of the iPad. After putting in the new touch screen, don't glue the screen down yet. Use some clear tapes to hold the new screen temporarily into place and use it for a little bit to make sure everything is functional. Good luck!
