Even though it’s pretty heavy by the time it’s loaded

This backpack is enormous, which is exactly why I purchased it. It fits my 17” laptop with ease and all of my folders and papers and other supplies that I need for work. Even though it’s pretty heavy by the time it’s loaded, the weight distribution is excellent and it rests easy on my shoulders without discomfort. I would highly recommend.

Important sizing details.

5 Stars because the quality is superb. It's a genuine shame that my laptop cannot fit in it because I genuinely loved the back pack itself. The Problem is that it doesn't actually fit a 17.3 inch laptop. The zippers will not seal without stretching beyond acceptable tolerances. So I am returning it for that reason. For any future buyers, if your laptop is bigger than 17 inches FLAT Do not buy this. It is advertised at a 17.3 inch laptop bag but it will not close properly

Very Nice!

Arrived sooner than expected and is very nice quality. I always worry about straps holding up with all the crap I carry around, and I’m not worried about this one at all. I love that the laptop compartment is padded on both sides and completely separate from the main compartment (unlike the thin sleeve that most computer bags feature). It is very spacious and computer compartment will fit a large laptop, but still has enough padding that a smaller and thinner MacBook won’t flop around either. It’s a good bag for sure and looks like it will hold up for years even with the most careless of folks.

Good bag, cheap zippers

This bag looks great, my first impression was that the zippers are cheaper than other bags I have but they are holding up well under fairly hard daily use. The straps seem well attached and have supported 20 lbs for several weeks with no signs of wear. My 17.3" laptop fits perfectly with plenty of room not stretching the bag at all.. Overall I like the simple compartment configuration and it feels like it will last at least a year. So not bad for the price.

LOVE IT

I adore this backpack. I was really looking for something professional and eligeant that could still be useful for casual use (I carry a backpack rather than a purse) and travel (as a personal item on a flight, etc). It has a place for everything and the “power cell pocket” inside can also be used as a water bottle sleeve to keep it upright and in the correct place—which is fabulous for keeping the other contents, especially paper products and other easily manipulated material, from getting damaged. At first I thought it was bigger than I expected and wasn’t sure it would be comfortable. I wore it today during a 2.5-mile walk and the only thing that bugged me was the weight of everything I put in it! It may seem ridiculous to be this pumped, but I am a busy, full-time college student and I spend a lot of time away from home with a lot of heavy things to take wherever I go (textbooks, binders, planners, projects, laptop). I like my things to be a certain way as well as bring me convenience and efficiency, and this guy does! Extremely satisfied w my decision to purchase and utilize this backpack, and I might buy from this brand for the rest of my backpack-carrying daze (I did that on purpose to let everyone know I’m a chill dude and not some crazy lady who is this impressed bc she doesn’t get out much. I have felt the back pain. I do not want you to suffer anymore, either. You can trust me! Haha). ((Sorry if that was weird, sometimes I think something I do is courteous and then realize it might actually just be weird but I obviously wouldn’t know any better smh y am I like dis)) anyway, GREAT backpack.

Perfect backpack.

Clean. Chic. Holds a lot of books and my laptop. What I especially like is the padding on the back and on the straps that help take the strain off my back and shoulders. I carry my laptop to work and to class all day. I usually walk about 4 miles to work in the city and I've noticed a change in how tight my stride is with this backpack. It doesn't swing, it sits nicely on my shoulders; it's a must for busy graduate students or commuters who need a comfortable--but clean and modern looking--backpack. I haven't used the USB charger. It seems cumbersome and unnecessary, but luckily the cable can be discreetly tucked away.

Great bag!

My laptop bag broke one day while traveling so I was immediately in the market for a new bag. I choose this bag not really convinced I wanted a backpack. However, I love this bag. It’s not bulky but everything fits. My 17inch laptop fits perfectly with extra room if my laptop was larger. The compartments are perfect. I will say I bought a grey one, but the grey looked a bit blue/purpleish to me. I returned it and got the black one instead and it’s perfect.

Professional look, and roomy too!

I compared a lot of laptop backpacks and read a ton of reviews. Was sad to read awful reviews on the CaseLogic bag since I've always had good luck with their products. But I'm glad that one had crappy reviews because I ended up with this bag! It fits my almost-18-inch laptop with room to spare, but there are enough other (ROOMY) compartments for all my stuff, so the largest zippered compartment is so far exclusively for my laptop. My computer is inexplicably VERY heavy and it's powered by a BRICK. This bag seems very sturdy. The stitching is all very clean. The appearance is professional. The straps have great padding and are reinforced well, and... drumroll... there's a back pad and a hip pad under the straps to distribute the weight and keep your body parts from hurting after a long walk with the heaviest laptop in the world. Will edit review if anything changes, but so far it's five stars well earned!

Great laptop backpack. (Although the USB port seems somewhat pointless.)

I love this backpack. Lots of pockets for everything. The drink pockets on the side come in handy. Sleek, stylish, looks great. Very happy with this purchase. The only minor issue was that the backpack was slightly dirty from some packaging residue, but it rubbed off very easily. And I don't love the, or need, the USB adaptor. I guess it would come in handy if you're in the middle of nowhere and need to keep your phone charged with a battery -- but you still wouldn't need to feed it through your backpack, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I considered deducting a star for this, but the cable stores away in a side pocket and doesn't really get in the way.

Update: About a month into using this bag, the upper seam on one of the compartments was coming undone. I sent a picture and asked them to fix, and was compensated for the repair. After repair - I will say that this is probably one of the best things I own. My back problems went away, and it fits everything I need. I can even pick up a few things at the store, or store my gym clothes, and there is still plenty of room. Love, love this bag! Original: Great sturdy backpack that fits everything.
