Works great as long as you pay attention to the instructions. Now the instructions miss a critical piece of info. You have to print in mirror image much like a T-shirt transfer. Unlike most water slide transfers this one goes top side down so your image is reversed. So in printer settings mirror the image or words and everything else will be backwards. Also make sure you coat the surface of the print (post printing) with an acrylic spray. I use one from hobby lobby I have for photo's and art work but any good acrylic spray works. this kind of holds the image on the paer when you wet it otherwise the image would wash off when you put the cut out image in water. I have used this on coffee mugs and it works fine although you have to hand wash any glass or ceramic surface and not in the dishwasher. My wife forgot and tossed it in the dishwasher and it sort of melted off. but they spell this out in the instructions. Mainly I use this for images on wood that are then coated with either Modge Podge or acrylic. Remember the image is not backed with white once it is slid off so the surface color it is transferring to will affect the image color. On wood I use white pickling stain which works good for my purpose. Also I put a coat of acrylic spray down on the white pickling so that there is a smooth surface or the slide won't stick. Fun stuff to use for man crafts and my grandaughter is always finding another use for it. Print it out on on inkjet in mirro image. Coat with three coats of acrylic spray...let dry and transfer...pretty easy

I’m in LOVE with this product!!! So simple to use...(see 3 pics I posted) 1)print pic 2)cut around pic 3)lightly spray with clear spray paint 4)put in bowl of water for 10 seconds and printed pic will slide off of paper backing & you place it on your item that you want to decorate...tah-dah!!!! Its soooo beautiful! Looks like it just melts right into the background and becomes one with it! Love LoVe LOVE!💗💗💗

This is the best waterslide paper ever! I will purchase again and again!

Easy to use and works great. Just remember to clear coat the inkjet image. I used a couple of coats of Krylon triple coat clear or some such. ~$4 at Walmart. Let that dry. Trim with scissors, soak for about 30 secs, then apply like a plastic model decal. Once this is dry, spray clearcoat over the decal to protect it. This product will allow you to print and apply just about any image except for white. Logos, pictures, fonts, artwork, etc. Basically anything you can pull together in Word or PowerPoint, etc. and print on your inkjet (except for white) will work. Images are clean with a lot of fine detail available.

I used this to put logos on paper cups and coffee cup sleeves for a branding project in my graphic design class. It worked perfectly! Just be sure to really follow directions and you absolutely need a good few coats of clear acrylic on your image for it to not fall apart. In case anyone was wondering, it does indeed work on thicker paper, as well as the other materials listed. Also, don’t cut the image out before you put the coats on, the acrylic will deep between layers and prevent separation of the backing.

Fantastic quality water decal and easy to use directions. I used it for my tea cups. Product arrived fast and just as described. Will be buying it again.

My girlfriend and I bought for a craft project and it worked flawlessly. Used it on candles and they turned out really nice! Easy to follow instruction but I’d recommend searching for a video on YouTube if it’s your first time using this type of paper, it certainly helps.

My color laser printer fuser roller went south during my amp project. So I bought an inkjet printer to replace it and also had to change my water-slide paper to match the printer type. The paper quality is excellent and the customer service is excellent. Note of caution! When I used another brand of paper for laser printers, I only had to print and apply the decals (not sure if that is true for all brands). When I received this paper, I printed, soaked in water and when I attempted to apply the decal, the ink wiped right off. Then I reviewed the product on Amazon and “read” the brief instructions that accompanied the paper. I discovered Krylon Krystal Clear Acrylic Clear Coat 1303 is required to fix the inkjet ink before soaking in water. I was fortunate I already had Krylon Krystal Clear Acrylic Clear Coat 1303 on hand. User error!

I can see where this decal transfer would not be suitable for highly contoured surfaces--like some of my pen blanks with rounded "hills" and "depressions" for a comfortable grip. Flat or cylindrical shapes (like the attached photo of my first attempt on a pen blank) works just fine! I did use three coats of Rustoleum Clear Gloss Acrylic applied about a half hour apart over the ink jet print and then waited overnight before transferring the decal to the pen. The pen blank had 4 coats of cyanoacrylate (C.A.) applied first before the decal--then 8 more coats of C.A. before the final nine-stage micro-mesh sanding.
