Works as intended, easy to setup, great cable management

So far so good with these. I run a 27" and 28" dual monitor setup. They were taking way too much space on my desk, so I ordered these. I was excited to get this together to reclaim that realestate on my desk. Setup was simple. The instructions very straight forward. There are different ways to mount and/or attach to the desk. I chose to drill a hole in the top and mount it that way. The arms were fairly simple to manipulate to get them in the positions that I wanted. The cable management is great as well. From beginning to end, I had both monitors in place within 45 minutes. It came with standoffs and all the necessary hardware to make this an easy setup. If I come to needing another dual monitor setup, I will most definitely go with these again.

Great monitor stand, documentation needs a little work...

Works great. Holds my 28" and 21" side by side with eaze. Goes together pretty easy, but the docuementation is a little confusing; probably because of the different ways it can be used (I'm using it desk clamped). Adjustments are good, holds postion very well for my screens without any adjustments. Allows me to finally get enough height on my main screen. Works well for me (your mileage may vary).

UPDATED REVIEW - Read to the end

Setup was easy. The clamp method is pretty straight forward, im using an IKEA desk. The individual arm grips that go on the post are holding the arms well. HOWEVER, my 10 lb 27 inch monitor is apparently too much for the arm tension. It droops, and falls all the way to the lowest position. This is not ideal, but i guess ill have to move the arm highger up the post so the monitor isnt just sitting on the desk. I will be updating this review once i receive my second 27 inch ACER monitor Update * Did not hold either monitor on either arm. Downgrading this to a single star because it doesn’t live up to the specs provided . Neither monitor weighs anywhere near 17 lbs . The tension bolt only tightens the horizontal pivots basically , the vertical movement of the arm can’t really be adjusted . I tried putting the arms all the way up the post to see if I could live with that , but no . It’s ridiculous . Returning this. UPDATE**** The seller contacted me. They let me know that my experience was unusual for their product and actually sent me a replacement. After a few emails exchanging information i received the item again. Once again, i reluctantly put it together. To my surprise, This time everything worked. The tensioner screws worked and i now have a clean dual monitor setup. I was able to adjust the arms so that they are both even. Extremely happy with the performance of this item. It is also good to know the company is aiming to please their costumers.

This system can hold a 34" monitor

I bought two of these stands. It took me an hour to mount four monitors (see picture) - two 34" monitors on the bottom and two 24" monitors on the top. The system will move if you bump it hard enough, but for the most part everything stays exactly where I placed it. Just don't accidentally physically bump a monitor and things will stay where you put them. The setup pictured is a shared PC and Mac Mini, which I use for writing and photography purposes. I use a product called ShareMouse to seamlessly share mouse and keyboard between the PC screens on the bottom and the Mac screens on the top. For me, the monitor stand is a great value. I have no regrets about my purchase.

Why Did I Wait So Long?

Review after four months use. Wow, why did I wait so long to get this monitor stand after using monitor risers, non-adjustable stands, etc. Just wow. Used for a couple of months supporting just one monitor. No issues, easy to setup, easy to adjust, etc. For my two monitor setup, I have primary monitor set up directly in front of me with the secondary monitor angled off to the right. Some difficulty keeping the monitors lined up next to one another, perpendicular to the desk, etc. but those are my issues. Has some provisions for cable management that I haven't used. When I do finally secure the cables, will probably use Velcro wire ties instead. Would I recommend to a friend: yep, without any reservations. I will probably need to get two more monitor stands for other work areas and I will come back and reorder this stand without a second thought.

I wanted a mount that had a grommet option and dual arms. This one does the job. I've got a 27" Asus on it with no problems. VESA quick-release brackets are a nice touch, as is the trim plate that keeps the base of the mount covered on the desktop. Adjustment was easy. Lots of screws/washers/spacers to match your monitor's VESA bracket, depth of screws, threads, and even spacers if your mounting screws are recessed (mine are; the spacers worked great). Would recommend this. I can't say whether it's best to have 2 monitors on the same horizontal level, as some mounts do, or this type which necessitates one arm stacked over the other. I've got both types and I don't know that I have an absolute preference for either. I'm guessing the stacked-style like this one might give you a bit more flexibility.

Great Dual Monitor Mount

I did a lot of research to choose a dual monitor mount. I was skeptical of this mount due to some of the reviews and because it is nearly 1/3 the cost of the Amazon Basics dual monitor mount. I decided to give this a try and it is working great for me. I mounted two 27" Samsung monitors (8.58 & 7.93 lbs) and I used the grommet mount on an IKEA Galant desk. It is a solid mount, the mount pole does not move as other reviews indicate. I don't see how it could damage my desk because it has rubber feet under the mount pole. I will say that the mount base is only about 1/4 inch larger than the grommet hole in my desk. That concerned me a little, but after I ensured the pole was tight and exactly centered I no longer worry about it. During assembly I couldn't get the arm to hold my 7.93 lb monitor up, it kept drooping down to the desk. But then I read the instructions again and found the adjustment for tension on the gas spring. Now it works fine and stays where I put it. Several reviews mention wobbling when shaking the desk... Yes, that happens with this mount, but think about what is happening. You are suspending 16 lbs (in my case) up on a pole that increases the leverage on said pole. If you shake it, it will wobble. But who sits at their desk and shakes it while working? Anyway, I have shaken my desk harder than a casual bump with my chair arm and yes they wobble. But we are talking about +- 1/4 of an inch. That is fine for me.

Great value!

The Good: Very well made and quite solid. Once clamped down on the desk, the base doesn't move. Also, once you get the monitor arms set, they stay put, it just takes a little time to adjust the arms how you want them. The assembly took about 15-20 minutes and the instructions were good. The Bad: You get two packets of screws (for different monitors) and no explanation of what some of them are. It's quite obvious once you start assembling, but you have to test each one to determine which will secure the bracket. Overall: I'm receiving two additional monitors soon and I'll be purchasing another one.

Nice unit for the price if you want a stationary setup.

The stand is fine for the price. Assembly is not hard and setting it up is pretty simple. You do need a strong table as the clamp area of the entire stand is not very big. I am using a cheap 1 inch laminated particle board table and it has held up for many months without a problem. I do not consider my table to be ideal so I am careful when I move the monitors. Positioning: The arms do not have a huge range of motion up/down. Also the clamps that slide down the main shaft are kind of big so they can get in each other's way if you need to swivel the monitors close together. You may have to do some jockeying to get things where you want. Positioning/locking down: There are several joints that allow monitor position adjustment. Most are simple and use friction without bearing a lot of weight so they are not a problem. The main piston has a tension adjustment in the middle joint. This needs to be set carefully so you don't drop a monitor. Note that you turn the bolt COUNTERCLOCKWISE to increase the adjustment piston's hold tension! It seems to stay in place with no issues. I leave my monitors where they are so I can not comment on how well they stay set if you move things around. If you do not juggle your monitor a lot then I would actually recommend a simpler lightweight unit that locks in place without a big piston.

For the price, its great

Seems really good for being the lower priced over under stacking 2 display monitor arm. The installation is easier, and most importantly safer for the monitor, than I expected. The vertical round support is installed on the desk and secured, one can check if its able to hold a good weight. I shook it till my desk was in danger of breaking, the vertical pole seems very strong. Then the arms go on by themselves, this allows checking the position of where the monitor will be centered before committing to installing the monitors. I also checked the strength and rigidity of the arms at this point, and they seem strong enough for moderate sized monitor. I just bought a 4k Dell 27" and I was a bit worried about it being safe since its the new baby. I think its safe after pushing and pulling and simulating weight loads on the arms. Finally the monitors slide on with adaptor plates, and those are secured with a good sized screw with a thumb nut plastic cap. The bent steel plate the adaptors are made of is totally strong enough, and its powder coated OK and won't look horrible if monitors face a room like at some desks. The pivots are a little bit stiff, compared to something that costs hundreds of dollars, they seem perfectly acceptable for $80. The overall construction seems solid. I have machined a few things from steel and aluminum and can imagine part failure due to physics quite well, and I am pretty happy with this dual monitor arm setup. It's not super fancy, but it is totally functional and a very good value for the dollar. Edit: Quite not quit, oops!
