Best brush for the price. The packaging is tough though.
Great toothbrush for the price. Of course you can get better brushes, but they also cost much, much more. First few times you use it, you'll feel post-dentist clean, but you'll soon get used to it and anything less will feel dirty. The timer feature helps you make sure you're brushing for long enough. Sometimes I don't finish by the time it buzzes, so I just keep brushing for a bit longer. It comes with a replacement head, and a nice little charger. I can use it about a week between charges. A minor concern is some water/toothpaste get under the toothbrush head, and onto the arm that moves the head/bristles; I try to air that out often, for fear of the mold growth that plagues certain toothbrushes. My one major gripe is the packaging is difficult to get through. It's efficiently and aesthetically packaged, but at the cost of convenience in opening it. However, it's not a big enough deal for me to dock a star. Maybe someday there will be a frustration free packaging option for this.

Still Working.
Bought this last year around the same time and mine is still working great. I bought 1 for my household of 4. I bought several brush heads so each family member will put on their own brush head when it's their turn to brush. I also bought my college student daughter one as a gift. I notice that if you make sure you keep the charger dry (sometimes water will drip down from the brush head) then the brush will continue to have good energy and brush speed. If it gets wet and you don't wipe it or keep it dry then the charge won't be that great and the power a little weaker. Its great that i can buy an electric toothbrush for such a cheap price and it works just as good as it's $100 competitor. I don't think it matters if the brush is more expensive as long as it does the same job. Replacement brush heads are way cheaper too. If I had to buy another electric toothbrush I wouldn't feel so guilty because the cost is still low and I would still have paid less for a 2nd toothbrush compared to one more expensive brush.

I want the General Manager of this company to read this. Please forward to them.
I loved this product so much I had at least 150 of my customers go online and purchase one. I bought 2 in 2017 and have had no problems with it at all. However, recently, I have had many complaints. Taking my word, too many people have told me their product stopped working only weeks after receiving it . Also, that the coupons sent out with the toothbrush are always expired. They have even had a replacement with outdated coupons. I promote this product because between our tooth oil that we sell and this toothbrush everyone is reporting perfect gums and teeth. I don't care that the price has gone up, but I do care that there are so many problems with performance now. And the expired coupon? That is just strange. I don't expect this to be printed, but I would appreciate this getting to the right person who can tell me things are being put into place to get back on track. I am not so willing to share this with another 150 of my customers until the problems are rectified. Leara Clausing Frequency Foods

Does a GREAT job cleaning!
I bought this for my husband who has recently been diagnosed with periodontal disease. His periodontist recommended he use an electronic toothbrush twice daily to maintain plaque buildup and keep his gums in check. He had a different model, or brand (can't remember which) but it was lost along with a bag and all of it's other contents during a recent business travel trip by the wonderful airport shuttle service :< I thought he paid quite a bit more for his last one than this one costs, but I thought I'd try this one because it was inexpensive and had decent reviews. My husband LOVES it. He says it works better than his last one did, and it gives him a very good cleaning. After using it, he feels like he's just been worked over by the hygienist. I like how there are different types of heads you can get and they are all compatible with this brush. The price is very well worth it. He's only been using it for a few weeks now so I can't speak to the battery usage or overall product life. Hopefully it will last a while, but even if if dies in a year, I'd still buy another one. The price is worth how well this unit performs.

Simply put, it's a really great product.
Forget all the nonsense with these super expensive electric brushes, this product is inexpensive and does an absolutely fantastic job with cleaning your teeth to perfection. The battery life is extremely long, is fast to charge, brush replacements are very inexpensive, you can interchange multiple types of brush heads, and the whole system is super easy to clean. Plus, my young daughter loves that the brush handle vibrates on and off to notify you, at the two minute mark, that you've brushed your teeth long enough to meet the minimum recommended time for brushing.

Best Toothbrush I Have Ever Had...
I absolutely, positively LOVE LOVE LOVE this toothbrush. I had been using the Spinbrush Pros for a while before I decided to look for rechargeable brushes. The number 1 issue I had with the Spinbrush was water getting inside the brush and damaging the place where the batteries were so I would have to go and buy a new Spinbrush every 10 months or so. My friend told me that she had been using an Oral-B rechargeable brush so I decided to check this out. Honestly, I was skeptical at first. I read almost all of the reviews for this brush, good and bad, just to make sure I was not paying too much for something that was not going to last me very long. I finally decided to get the brush when the Spinbrush I was using at the time died. The package was easy to open and it comes with a spare head. I plugged my brush into charge the day I got it and followed the directions before I used it for the first time. When I finally got to brush my teeth, I was so surprised that it was easy to use and guess what? No batteries! Water doesn't get in because it's water tight and it charges by just placing the toothbrush on a charging station. I've used this brush for a few months now and my teeth have never been cleaner. The only downside is that the brush heads are a little expensive, but I guess the way to getting around it would be to buy a generic brand of brush heads. Overall, best electric toothbrush you could ever buy!

Rub a dub tooth
Inexpensive, easy to use, easy to charge, and I love the fact that it vibrates at the 2 minute mark (my old one didn't). I prefer this brush because I like the heads that not only spin (top) but agitate side to side (bottom). I don't know how easy the replacement brushes are to find in stores, but they're easy to find online and not that expensive. The brushes themselves last for a decent amount of time. Also, the charge lasts for a long time; I'm often amazed at how long I can leave it off the charge and still have it work. For those that have never purchased an electric toothbrush, I recommend this. You will be amazed at how much cleaner your teeth feel compared to a regular toothbrush. Don't bother with the $40+ brushes; this one gets the job done just fine at half the cost.

What have I been doing up until now?!
This was my very first electric toothbrush. I've had the kind with batteries before, and the kind that's disposable, but never one that you plug in. So, I just finished using it for the first time, and I am convinced that my teeth have never truly been clean before now. I mean, talk about instant whitening and a complete lack of gunky feeling. This toothbrush is life changing. The things that made me hesitant to buy it were the fact that replacement heads, and the cost of the initial unit are way more expensive than your run of the mill manual toothbrush. Plus, I'm supposed to use soft bristled toothbrushes, and from all I've read, these are closer to medium. I feel like all of these concerns have been remedied. The high cost will likely be offset by the lack of cavities I have to get filled with using this. (Yes, I am that confident in the level of cleanliness after a single use.) and as for the bristles, I find that I'm not pushing down on this toothbrush at all, and as such, I should be fine without them being soft. For those of you wondering, the cord is a decent length. In my bathroom, the outlet is on the wall right beside the sink, so I actually have excess cord just kind of balled up and off to the side. So if your outlet isn't super close to your sink, it'll likely still reach, depending upon how far away your outlet is. While the entire toothbrush is safe to get wet, the manual says not to get the charger wet. You clean it with a damp cloth, not with running water. So I'd try to wipe down my toothbrush when I'm done to keep the excess water from running down it and pooling on the charger. If there are any more questions, feel free to reach out to me. Closest thing to a Spinbrush but better - so far.
Was looking for a rechargeable replacement to the dual-motion spinbrushes I've been buying over the years. Trouble with spinbrush is switch wearing out after 2 years and being a 2 x alkaline battery hog and not a water tight battery compartment (o-ring wears out). I don't like the ultra-fast so-called "sonic" brushes, I like the low speed of the spinbrush. This Oral-B Vitality is a bit faster than a spinbrush but slows down as the re-chargeable battery drains. Charge lasts almost a week. Sealed alkaline battery is not replaceable - the instructions show how to break the brush open to discard the battery, thus destroying the brush. So far very happy with it and being twice the price of a spinbrush, if it lasts 4 years I'll be really happy. Wish they would make a lithium battery version. I have not received any incentive for this review.

took me years to make the decision but glad I did
took me years to make the decision but glad I did. First, I didn't brush long enough. The 1-minute timer on this makes me sure of complete brushing. The brush head it comes with is intense and I was glad to find the brush for sensitive teeth available (via Subscribe and Save). I switch the heads out as necessary. The fuller head seems to floss, or at least prepare for a more thorough floss. After using this for about a month now, I've even noticed my teeth are whiter...or less yellow I should say; because 60+ yr old teeth do not get white without bleach. Anyway. For the price and features, this is a welcome addition to my dental care routine.
