Who knew I needed the added features?!

My desk isn't huge and I have a small printer on it plus my laptop and room for my Kindle - so I was concerned that this would hog space and not live up to my expectations. So glad I was wrong! The base is very sturdy, the lamp really swivels to different positions and holds the position without any effort on my part. I didn't think I'd use the nightlight function or the timer, but having them has been very useful for me - I can leave the lamp on timer and finish a few tasks then walk away. The USB charger was something I wanted for my Kindle (my young grandsons have their own but borrow mine often) and it really is useful. I was able to show my grandsons in a couple minutes (both under age 6) how to adjust the light, turn it on/off, make it brighter, and change it to nightlight (they really liked this option). Everything about this lamp, from design to ease of use, really pleases me!

Would make a great desk lamp for the office

Great lamp. However, in the middle of the night, the power button is hard to find by touch compared to an actual raised knob. There is a blue light depicting the power button but it's kind of useless in the dark if you're nearsighted and not wearing your glasses or if the lamp is above your eye line, but if they made it brighter, it'd be annoying to have in the bedroom. This may only be problematic if you're buying this lamp for your bedside (vs. office) which is why I'm still giving it 5 stars, because the problems aren't the lamp's. Also the black matte finish shows dust even though it feels like I'm constantly wiping it off. The base is nice and heavy. The night light is useful if you don't want to be blinded and if you can find it on the first try without powering on the regular light.

Wonderful for my use

This lamp is great and I like all the different lighting settings that it provides. Because I use it mostly on my desk I keep the light on the brightest setting. I am pleased that the LED lights do not produce many shadow lines where I normally do my writing. I had an LED light previous to this one that no matter where I positioned the shade it always had many shadow lines. I truly love this light.

Great, almost-perfect product!

I've had this product for three days and I'm quite pleased. My only gripe is that the main 'trunk' of this lamp is not quite as sturdy as I envisioned (to rotate the lamp, I have to grab the trunk near the platform, otherwise it flexes when I move it and looks like it might break), but this truly is only a minor inconvenience. I'm happy with my purchase, especially for only $29.99!

Outstanding lamp but with limitation

I was quite impressed with the lamp right out of the box. It sits quite well on the table and doesn’t wobble at all. Since everything is touch they put in a nice little light on the lamp so you can find the ON and OFF switch at night. The quality seems built quite well. I do appreciate the dimming feature, but the night feature I don’t see much use for. It’s really to dim to read unless you are using it as a night light. The limitation is that the lamp stand can only move up and down, it will not move left or right. I guess if you’re using this lamp for reading only. It’s quite a decent lamp and there’s 30 months of warranty if you apply on their site.

This is a great, solid little desk lamp

This is a great, solid little desk lamp. I read some reviews that said it was flimsy, but I don't find that at all. The base is heavy enough to keep it firmly on the desk even at its furthest extended position. The joints are put together well, so when you move it to a certain position, it stays where you put it. There are many settings for the types of light (reading, bright white, etc.) but these, for me, are pretty much overkill. - One of the reviewers said it doesn't move left-to-right, but it does swivel at the base, so that should help. - Also, some reviewers evaluated it as a lamp for a nightstand, but that's not what it is designed for. It's a desk lamp, and it's a great one.

Best lamp you will ever buy!

This is a MAJOR upgrade over the regular old desk lamp. Its fully adjustable mechanically, and has 6 stages of brightness. It offers enough light to fill a dark room, yet it can be set dim enough to make reading very pleasing to the eyes. The controls on this lamp are touch sensitive, and they work well. You can scroll up or down and the brightness will gently and gradually adjust accordingly. Aside from brightness, the lamp's color temperature is also adjustable, and I must say, I've been enjoying the ability to switch through the 5 different color temperatures. It really changes the whole feel of the room. All in all, if your looking to upgrade your desk lamp, this is the one to exceed your expectations!

The different modes really do make a difference.

Having a Desk lamp that can change over to match the color temperature of my monitors once night light kicks on is a very nice quality of life thing. I see nothing wrong with this lamp so far after a week, I adjust it often, and it doesn't show signs of loosening or anything like that. The charging port is nice too, it charges my iPad overnight, and keeps it at the same battery level when I am using it for school. The only thing I wish this lamp has would be a higher power output on the USB port. I know TT sells lamps that have that, but hindsight and all that. Overall, I recommend this lamp for the price point for sure. If you check this out when it is on sale, I would say grab it.
