Bright, light, and versatile!
Love these things! Was able to brilliantly light my garage and small workshop for a great price. Easy to install, bright, and versatile. They seem a little delicate, but I probably won't mess with them now that they're mounted.

Easy Drop-In LED Conversion, Just Change The Bulbs. Better, Brighter Light!
If your fixtures have electronic ballasts (Look below to see how to tell.) And you want the simplest LED conversion for your T8 or T12 fluorescent tubes, these are just the ticket. I simply removed the existing F40CW tubes from my two four-lamp (T12) fixtures, and replaced them with these Hykolity 4000K tubes. No re-wiring, no bypassing the ballast, no changing tombstone sockets. The light quality is far better than the Sylvania F40CW-Plus premium fluorescent lamps I used previously, and these are a good bit brighter as well. Two important benefits, better color and brighter light, while using only 18 watts per tube instead of 40! Since I'm using 8 tubes, my net savings is 176 watts. Based upon my using them 8 hours per day, at 11 Cents per Kilowatt Hour, these LED tubes will pay for themselves in just under one year. (Your savings will vary based upon electric rate and hours of use per day.) As I just installed these, I can't speak to the long-term reliability, but I've had good luck with LED lighting that I installed three years ago, and all eight lamps in the case I purchased from Amazon worked perfectly. Remember: These tubes only work in fixtures equipped with ELECTRONIC BALLASTS. They are not designed to work with the older magnetic ballasts. (All fluorescent fixtures have a ballast, which is a device to limit the current flowing through the fluorescent bulb.) So, how do you know which type of ballast your fixture(s) Have? You could open the fixture up and read the label on the ballast, but there's an easier way: Use your smartphone camera! 1. Turn on the fixture(s) you wish to check. 2. Turn off any other lights, and close window blinds or shades. (Better still, do this after dark.) 3. Position the camera vertically (Portrait) so the fluorescent tubes approximately fill the screen from edge to edge. 4. Look at your camera's screen, or take a photo, and if you see banding as in my photo, you've got magnetic ballasts, and these are NOT the lamps for you. If you DO NOT see banding, then you have electronic ballasts. That's all there is to it. Three notes: 1. Lay the case flat and open lengthwise. Each lamp comes packed in its own cardboard tube with a cap on either end. One end is glued, the other cap will slip off easily so you can remove the lamp. 2. Each lamp has a lengthwise strip of LEDS inside. When installing, the strip should be on the upper half of the bulb, not facing down. It does not have to be exactly centered, just not facing downwards so there's no shadow when the lamp is on. 3. I purchased these from Amazon at full price, received no compensation of any kind, and have no affiliation with Hykolity or Amazon. I just liked the product enough to write a review.

Exceeded my expectations.
Very small and i was very skeptical. I went from 4 8foot bulbs to this set. It's so much brighter. I wired them so i could have 2 or 3 feet between. 3 on each side of the 2 car garage and it's as bright as day. Lights are simple to install and put up. They are great. May order more for inside the house.

Great little lights, great service
Had a slight problem with one light being dented, they reimbursed me and replaced a broken clip that happened when I tried to install it, the rest went all smooth and all, so all in a great value anyway, they took care of anything immediately

Bright and easy to install
The lights were easy to install with all of the included cables. Replaced several old fluorescent lights with these, and there is now more light in the garage without the annoying hum of the older lights.

Love them!
First, I bought similar ones by a different brand and loved them so figured I'd try these (and they're cheaper!). Very light and feel somewhat cheap being made of plastic. Flexes easily. That said, once mounted, who cares as long as they work and put out great light (which they do)! I ran new wiring throughout my garage so they're on a single switch and it turned out incredible. I was told by my electrician friend that they aren't up to code due to them not being permanent or something. I'll switch them out if ever I sell and the inspector has an issue with it. Sold my last house and they didn't care so we'll see. Anyway, almost done in the pictures. Will update if they have issues but as of now, I couldn't be happier! Very, very bright. Photos were taken at night (you can see it's dark through the garage window). Highly recommend!

Incredible value
I originally bought some of the cheapest (but similar) 4ft LED lights @ $20 EACH from my local box store... then I came across these. When I got these, I was somewhat surprised at how closely they compared to the box store product which is about 3x more per light. They are of comparable quality (..it's all from china so don't expect an heirloom product), they put out excellent 'pure' white light, and they are efficient. Mine clocked in right at 17W of power consumption. I definitely like that the cords have inline switches so that you can, if desired, wire these up to a light switch and selectively shut some off while leaving others on. Using 4 of these, I replaced two old 4ft fluorescent fixtures (4 T12 bulbs total) which were sucking about 160W of power. Now, at 17W each, I'm only using about 68W TOTAL - AND I can easily turn off the extra row and only use ONE if I don't need an extreme amount of light. All in all, with the light being more spread out - it feels like more light than before (...the actual light output is probably similar, however). There are 6 individual hardware packs included - one for each light. Each hardware pack includes a long "plug in" cord, mounting brackets, screws, a coupler, endcap, drywall anchors & the little "hard wire" tail. If I had to nitpick a few things: The included screws are cheap and easy to strip/twist the heads off - no biggie, screws are plentiful. The brackets & lights themselves aren't rock solid. Again, these are extremely inexpensive lights and you shouldn't have to worry once they're mounted. All in all, super satisfied. I'd recommend picking up a couple more than you need to keep as spares in case you lose one or two prematurely.

Fantastic product. Great price. Easy mounting. Would absolutely recommend
I LOVE THESE THINGS! **1 YEAR UPDATE: after 1 year of regular/near constant use, each of the 8 or so lights we put up are still working as expected. These lights are perfect & fantastic for just about anything I can imagine. We built a shop in our basement and I wanted better lighting, we also had some old fluorescent tube lights that were on the way out. ended up putting them throughout the basement. They are super easy to string together and super easy to mount. they put out a ton of light. they are very streamlined in shape and take up very little space. They weigh next to nothing so if you wanted to mount them on to a light weight structure they'd be ideal. I'm REALLY happy with this find, especially at the price point. would absolutely recommend. I cannot think of much to improve on these to tell you the truth... I mean if they wanted to get fancy a remote or dim option might be nice, but they are great for what they are. The photo below (excuse our messy shop we are mid project...) is lit with 3 of the lights in an L shape. two attached end to end and on the far side, and one on the left on its own. We had only two lights originally and it was plenty of light, i only added the 3rd because we had a spare and figured i'd put it somewhere.

Best bang for the buck of any LED light I have bought.
Worked as advertised, although almost gave it 4 stars because the interconnect wire only has a connector on one end. There is no easy way on adding a connector to other end, other than to take two wires (one from each package) and twisted them together and add electrical tape, which is what I did since I only planned to daisy chain two of the six.
