Exact Solution for ergo work station
This stand allows for excellent range of motion! There is ample room to raise and lower the monitor, as well as bring it closer to the front! I did not get this for the largest of monitors, so I cannot say it will hold as much weight as advertised. I believe the ability to safely bear the weight of larger monitors would be affected by installation quality and ability to follow directions. For example; to increase the arm tension, you turn the bolt toward the + sign, which is toward the left. Some people might be tightening that bolt all the way to the right, which is going to make the tension weakest. Take your time, follow directions carefully, & tighten everything. I think that will help when supporting bigger, heavier monitors. I returned another holder that was way too low - close to my keyboard. I am happy with this one and it is much more comfortable on my neck!

LED Panels are great. Wobbly when extended with older monitors - EDITED
I have a 21" Apple cinema display mounted in portrait orientation and its lifted and extended upwards to accomadate the extra height the monitor needs. It wobbles more than I would like a but considering the below, I let it side. 1. The cinema displays are heavy and old. If you're using a modern led lit panel, it would be fine 2. I have it extended at almost its limit both vertically and horizontally. 3. Its a fraction of the cost of a premium articulating mount. For the price it isn't bad but don't expect a rock solid arm. There is some wiggle room when adjusting. You kind of have to nudge an inch or two further than where you want and then it will rebound back in the correct location. UPDATE 5/14/19: Manufacturer reached out to replace or refund the unit saying mine is faulty. I believe them but I declined because I don't want to deal with the hassle of getting it put back on a CC over email. After using it for a few months, it's really not an issue and I was just being nit picky. Good customer service if you ever have a problem.

Mounts to glass
For all of you wondering if this will work with a glass desk, YES. I had no trouble attaching to glass desk and have no fear of it cracking or breaking. It is very secure. I used the foam pads to be safe. The mount was easy to setup, the direction I think have a typo on gromet vs clamp mount. Do what makes sense. The gas tube holds it in position great. I have an 11 pound 24” tv mounted. It comes with m4 and m5 bolts to mount tv to it. There are adjustments If it won’t staybat the right height or angle. The plate that mounts to the tv is a great design. You mount it to the tv then it slides onto the arm for easy set up. The wires holders are great and it comes with a HDMI cable. Only complaint, you have to really crank down the bolt to attack it to the cylinder tube. It will slide a little if you don’t.

Amazing for the money
I compare this monitor mount to any you might see that are easily twice the price, and the value is GREAT. The machine quality is fantastic for such a low price. Everything is adjustable. My only recommendation is to tighten everything down that you don't want to move. Some of the joints can be a little stiff, but swivels are very smooth. The gas piston arm works as intended, even with my heavier 15-pound monitor. The only weird caveat is that my particular monitor (MSI MAG27CQ) features mounting locations for 75x75mm VESA and not 100x100 (something I might expect for a monitor this heavy). That being said, I had to use some spacers I had left over from a previous VESA mount in order to adequately pad the gap between the back of the mount and use the long screws to attach the VESA back plate. Overall, assembly is incredibly simple. You can put the back plate on the monitor independent of building out the stand, as it features a slide-on plate. Initially, I needed to tighten down the tilt bolt as my monitor would just tip forward endlessly. I tightened it until the monitor no longer moves freely. I love the fact there are actually two ways to make this mount work - 1. Mount it to your desk with the included C-Clamp style, or drill a small hole in the desk (large enough for the bolt to fit through) and mount it that way.

I have used it for a different purpose. It ...
I have used it for a different purpose. It is a robust design and even in road conditions it fulfills its purpose well . Holds well the weight of an iPad, hard drive, two phones and two power systems .

Exactly what I wanted
As another reviewer indicated, if you own the Samsung 28" UHD 4K monitor then you know the vesa mount is located at the top of the monitor. This creates a problem with many mounts because it sits low at the highest setting. This mount perfectly resolved this problem because of the convenience of the pole. Now I can raise the monitor high up above the desk. Installation was very simple, but the only criticism I have is the instructions incorrectly state a step that is for the "desk clamp" mount when it is actually for the "grommet clamp" mount. It threw me off for a few minutes until I realized they just labeled the step incorrectly. But, they do show the correct steps on the item description here on Amazon. Overall I'm very pleased and it seems to be of high quality. I wish there was a way to control the "wobble" when working on my desk but that's more of a problem with my desk wobbling than the mount itself

This stand made work much easier for me!
I do a good bit of 3D scanning for my work. The scanner is run through a laptop and the 14-inch screen is hard to see from a distance and virtually unviewable from any angle except straight on. I happened to have a Dell 24-inch monitor I that I wasn't using and though it might make viewing the scanned image easier to see but it needed a stand. I saw this stand and took a chance. It puts the monitor right where I need it without having to worry with the laptop screen. The fact that it can articulate the monitor in any direction is money! This stand is one of the best things I have bought in a long time. It is exactly what I needed. This stand is very well worth the price. I do recommend it.

Good but not without it's faults. (UPDATE)
Not bad. Seems sturdy and moves easily, but there are a few issues: 1) The clamp that attaches to the pole is fully secure. Instead of the clamp staying there because it is screwed tight, it is tilted and held by the corners. If you look at it is clearly tilted. I feel that this is because of the plastic sleeve inside the clamp. I feel like this issue could be easily alleviated by either thickening the plastic or by removing some of it near the screw so that it close more tightly. 2) Mounting the pole to the grommet is a huge pain. The pole is meant to be aligned with a tiny stub about a few millimeters tall, and it is incredibly difficult to screw the pole in while keeping the stub aligned. Also, the grommet plate could be just a bit bigger. I found it kinda funny how the foam/rubber pads on the bottom of the grommet plate were on the areas that didn't touch the table at all. 3) It's a bit wobbly while moving. Not really a big issue tbh considering the price, though. So I feel like it's worth the price, but there are just a few issues that really bug me. I feel as though my unit may be mildly defective in regards to the first issue discussed above, considering how the pictures from the other reviews and the product page see to be fine, but who knows. *UPDATE* After receiving a replacement, it seems the issue has been resolved. I guess I just recieved a faulty unit. Now it works just fine.

It works
I bought this product, for four reasons: (1) to hold a 32-inch television that I use for a monitor. (2) to clear desk space on my messy desk (3) to move my monitor to a better angle to view my 39.5-inch home television which doubles as monitor two and when needed to be able to have either a horizontal or vertical monitor. (4) to access the thermostat behind my desk. As far as putting together I think that would depend on your skillsets, I had really no issues. There was a couple of minutes where I had to use the tool provide in an awkward position other wise 5 stars. I appreciated that every piece was labeled, seldom has it been that I have found in the past when screws were marked in the bag. That was a pleasant surprise. This works like I expected to and I am pleased.

Works, and reasonably easy to put together.
Even holds my 34" ultra-wide ACER display. :-) If your desk wiggles a bit, your screen will wiggle a bit more when on this arm.
