I got this so I would have a way to charge joycons on my couch's side-table and I wouldn't always need to plug them back into the switch console, which is tiring when you have multiple pairs of joycons. This is great! I love how it lights up to tell you when they are charged and it is easy to put in and remove the joycons. It is also nice to have that on/off switch on the base of the charger so you don't have to unplug it to get the lights to turn off. I also used this with pro controllers. I like that it provides me a place to keep my pro controller and it takes up less space then when the controller is laying on the table. It is a bit hard to find the plug on the pro controller since you need to plug it in upside down, and taking it out is difficult because it is securely plugged in and you need to brace your hand on the tops of the light up towers in order to have enough leverage to unplug the controller. That being said, this is totally doable, but might need some explaining if you have a friend over who just picks up the controller and the rest of the charging stations comes up with it. Don't wiggle it, just brace your hands and pull straight up or you risk damaging the charging station and controller. My boyfriend liked this setup so much that he bought one too! I would recommend it if you have more then one pair of joycons!

The simple review is that it works well, and is a great value compared to other similar units. Unit is powered by USB, so you can just plug it into the switch doc (or any usb power brick). It also has an on/off switch on the front which is nice if you want to turn the lights off (this however will turn off charging as well). The only "negative" thing I would say is just a matter of taste. The large LED light bars are pretty bright in a dim room. They do a great job indicating that the controllers are charging, but they certainly stand out. Again, this is more a matter of taste then anything.

I have only used this a few times bc I rarely charge my stuff until it is dead, but I love this product when I do use it. it lights up colors to let u know when it is charging and when it is done charging. green for go; red for stop. I'm glad I bought this product bc sometimes I don't want to put my switch in the dock bc it is charging it when it is sitting in it. if ur crazy about ur batteries going crazy from to much constant charging then this is the product for u.

I personally enjoyed this charging stand much more than having to use the nintendo switch dock. As you can tell from the pictures, its pretty versatile! You can charge 4 joycons at the same time, or 2 joycons and a pro controller, OR you can even have 2 joycons plus the switch docked on here to play in tabletop mode. The charging indicators are also a bright vibrant fiberoptic effect through the clear plastic. the pictures in the ad dont do it justice. I find that when I'm waiting for my switch to charge, I can have it on the FastSnail charger plugged into my laptop so I have a neat little light next to me and I'll know right away when it's done charging. It's nice and small but it doesnt knock over easily. Grips well. No longer will I have to slide the joycons carefully into the switch as it wobbles in its dock!

It's nice to know whether your joy cons have full battery without having to go through the switch settings. We play a lot of games with multiple players so it works great charging 4 joy cons at once. We had to wait so many times bc all 4 joy cons wouldn't be charged and could only charge 2 at a time on the switch. The charger lights up red when still charging & green when the joy con is fully charged. Each joy con has its own light so you can remove just one when it's done. We don't have a pro controller so can't say how that part works but would imagine it works great since the rest of it does. Also has an "On/off" switch on the side of the charger so you don't have to unplug every time.

This stand is great; for the price, it's awesome. It does exactly what it's supposed to; charges your controllers, and without having to hang them off the Switch itself leaving you to wonder if they're charged. I plug mine into the internal USB port inside the Switch dock, let them charge to full, then turn the device off when all four are green. It's easy and charges controllers quickly.

Works great. Less cumbersome than trying to attach them to the Switch unit after every use. I like that it has and on and off switch so it's doesn't always have to be on without having to unplug it. Cheap and effective.

I’ve purchased a few of the FastSnail products. They build quality products and this one is no exception. I’ve had this for over a month now and use it almost daily. I love the fact I can charge my extra Joy-cons and one of my Pro controllers with just one of the USB ports used on the Switch dock. I also like the ability to turn off the lights if I don’t want to see them.

I bought this mainly for the Pro Controller charge/dock functionality and have been impressed with its overall value. My only beef with it, albeit minor, is the brightness level of the LEDs. I keep it in a cabinet and can still see the light through the cracks, so if you are using this in a room where bright light will be a problem at night, you will either have to unplug it or put a towel/item of clothing over it. I concede that, in looking at their product pictures, the bright LED is actually a selling point.

I LOVE the fact that this is so much less expensive than the Nintendo branded charger, and it also has cool indicator lights to let you know when everything is charged. I feel like the pro controller is very delicately held in place though, so we are always extra careful when taking the pro controller on and off the charger...All that holds it in place is the small metal pin charger thing that plugs into the pro controller, so it is a bit easy to knock over, or knock out of place. But this works, and it did not exceed the price I wanted to pay for this item! It keeps the cords to a minimum, so no one trips...I recommend this, and would buy it again for what I paid, but be cautious with knocking it over since there is really nothing to hold or cradle that pro controller, other than the charging pin (or whatever it’s called). We are quite satisfied overall, and would definitely buy it again! I’d give it 5 stars if it held the pro controller more precisely. Charges quickly and efficiently, and the colored indicator lights add a nice touch of color (I love colored accessories like these)! Especially since the color lets you know when the items are charged, and we have 4 of the joycons and one pro controller, so we can charge 2 joycons and the pro controller, or just all 4 joycons at once. It’s a great little item for the price!
