Great part

Works exactly as it should. Saved me from having to replace my Dell XPS 13 for now. The left hinge on my laptop had broke and severed some wires on the original part, such that I could plug the laptop in but it wouldn't charge. This took about 20 minutes to replace and everything is working again. You can find tutorials for replacement on YouTube. It's not hard as long as you're patient and you make sure you don't lose any screws or forget to reconnect anything to the motherboard. Also be careful not to damage any of the ribbon cables.

A much needed replacement

The charging port i had broke and i needed to replace it. Parts were easy to install and has been working fine ever since installation

If it were any more of a life saver, I'd roll it and sell it as candy 30 years ago.

Expensive laptop + rambunctious toddler = busted cord hole. Enter ifixit and the GinTai DC power jack for the Dell XPS 13! 15 minutes of disassembly, 2 minutes of installation, and 15 minutes of reassembly and IT WORKS LIKE MAGIC--or at least lik new. Saved my bacon.

Much better than paying several hundred to have somebody else fix it!

I watched videos of replacing this cable. The actual replacement was even easier. It took me less than an hour, probably more like 20-30 minutes and that was just because I was being very careful and moving slowly.
