Works great-small and bright. It has a bright and dim setting by way of the two way switch. There are two holes on the top which allow you to screw it into the cabinet.Package says is cost $1.34 a year to operate. I use this in the kitchen as an under the cabinet light and have not concerns leaving it on for hours.

With only 2 lights in the garage, the far side of the workbench was rather dark, put this up, and it is working great. Cannot attest to its longevity yet, but will update if it doesn't hold up. Easy mounting, easy installation overall. I tried my best to take pictures and show the difference, the camera has its own ideas for helping with lighting. so hopefully the contrast of on and off came through. its not as bright as the 100 watt equivalent Led light on the close end of the bench, seems like maybe 75 ish watt equivalent light output. This comes on bright instantly, and at first is brighter than the other led bulb, once the bulb warms up, then it becomes noticeably brighter. Hope the pics help. its easy enough to put 2 up, also note I went for the 3000k light. Debating adding a few more. I paired this with this for easy install using the exisiting light socket. Great LED light. Provided much needed lighting over a countertop where I sometimes prep food. I love that it has 2 brightness levels too. Great little light fixture. It was easy to install. Took about 10 minutes total from taking it out of the box to plugging it into the outlet.

Purchased two of these to replace two strings of halogen mini lights under a cabinet. Man are these bright! We've made use of the hi/low switch on the fixtures to tone them down at times -- or even shut one off. And being LEDs they generate zero heat versus the halogens under which my wife could melt butter. Easy install -- I hardwired since that was the setup for the previous lights. If you are going to do that you need the GE junction box #39971 -- NOT the one that is recommended under "buy these together" which is model number 32612. The latter has a different receptacle and the fixtures will not plug into it. You don't need anything more than the fixtures to use a standard outlet.

We purchased this light to add it to a workbench in an otherwise ill lit room. This is a lower profile light bar that provides ample light to see the whole bench. We like that we can piggy back a second one on to this one should we need more light in the future. For now, it provides plenty on it's own. It is handy that it has a low and high function so we can adjust as we need.

These are great undercabinet light fixtures. Provide very bright light and are very thin. I find that mounting them forward (toward the front edge of your countertop) provides the best lighting for your countertop. They are linkable, so that if you have them on an externally-switched circuit, they will all turn on/off together when you turn on/off that switch. The only negative is that GE provides only a short link wire (18") which is often too short for applications. You can modify the length of the link wires, however, by splicing in unused sections of extra power cord wires that you don't need. Too bad GE doesn't simply provide for longer link wires or for connectors to create longer link wires.

Purchased this for a small coat closet that doubles as a central location for all my electronics equipment. Could barely see whenever I had to reboot a cable box or install a new device, and got tired of shining flashlights to see anything. Had been thinking of installing a light fixture, but that just seemed like overkill, complexity and cost wise. This light is has solved all my problems, and is almost too bright for a small closet, but that is where the high low function comes in. In my case this purchase was perfect. It took about 5 minutes to install, and the 6 foot cord was perfect to run from the light into the power strip that connects all my electronic devices. The light is probably more like 4000K vs. 3000K, but that's a non-issue in a closet. The fact that its LED makes it unbelievably cost effective, and hopefully proves to have the staying power one would expect from an LED light. Incredibly happy with this purchase.

I love this LED light. The high and low settings are just right for me. There is one thing to note, though. When used in plug-in mode, as I am, the switch will be on the opposite side of where the cable plugs into the light bar. When planning the installation, you need to be aware of this. I can't move my outlet, which is on the right. I would have preferred that the switch be easily accessible on the right side as well. I would also prefer the rocker switch to be a little larger. It is so small, you can hardly tell which position it is in, but I would definitely buy this unit again!

Just installed a couple of the 12" light bars under my kitchen cabinets around the stove. Nice even brightness, good color temperature. My Kill-a-Watt measures 2.1 Watt per bar on the low brightness setting! The low setting provides plenty of illumination for accent lights and for using in place of incandescent bulbs under my over-range microwave while using a tiny amount of electricity. The bright setting is really quite bright; I don't see myself using that often. I bought a "GE Grounded Outlet Power Switch" (Amazon B0113VTPSW) to turn the daisy-chained light strips on and off more easily without having an in-wall dedicated outlet toggle switch. Works perfectly with the lights (all on or all off).

I actually tried to find an under-counter light at a local store, but didn't find what I wanted. Many were cool, harsh lights. The soft warm light that did exist had an inline switch, not a push button so it wasn't right for under the counter. The cheap ones were all florescent, which I don't like at all. This light was exactly what I wanted. Hi/Lo switch, with a warm colored light. The high setting is nice and bright, and the low setting is more subdued. They could of course be a little cheaper, but LED lights are still new so I expect that's why they haven't fallen in price. After my initial purchase, I bought 3 more to complete the project.
