I bought this charges as a back up for my charger that came with my Kindle. It works as well as the original charger. I'm glad that I purchased this charger.

Works perfectly....

Thought I was going to have to buy a new Kindle when mine started charging extremely slow and not holding a charge. Decided to try a new charger and turns out that's what the problem was. This charges my Kindle super fast. Gets the job done.

Good inexpensive cord and charger works for Amazon Fire

Great value

My old charging cable was starting to get loose in my Kindle Fire's charging port, and the plastic had started to split at that end, exposing the internal wires. It was time to replace it, so I searched Amazon for different chargers. I found this cable, and decided to give it a try based on the product details, customer reviews, and price. So far, I'm very happy. The end fits snuggly in my tablet, and now I know that I don't need to prematurely replace my beloved Kindle. I would consider the length of the cable to be generous, but I rarely have to charge and use the Kindle at the same time.

A good, inexpensive charger

I waited to review till I'd used this charger. I don't ask much of a charger: charge my Kindle Fire and do so quickly. This one seems to do the job. The cord is much thinner than the one I'd used before and a little shorter. (Frankly, I'd feel happier if the cord were both thicker and longer, but you probably can't have everything.) It's an inexpensive charger. It works. What more do you need?

Works great

I have two Kindles and am always looking for the chargers. Having a couple of extra ones is perfect. They look nice and perform perfectly. I keep one at the office and one at home and it did charge quickly as advertised.
