Received it today, unpacked it, and added it to my new M50 Mirrorless. The fit is snug, but not too tight, and the finish is very good, and it id heavier than I expected. I tried out 5 different lenses, 3 Canon 10-18mm, 24mm, 18-135mm and my Tamron 16-300mm. They all work well, and I also turned off the continuous AF, so that it doesn't interfere with their AF. I like the adapter, it allows me to use all of my lenses and doesn't add a lot of weight to the camera. Worth int investment, and a lot cheaper than the Canon version, with no loss of usability.

For less than half the price of the Canon adapter, this adapter does a great job of adapting my EF-S 55-250mm telephoto lens to my Canon M50. Autofocus and Lens Image Stabilization perform as expected. The tripod foot that connects to the adapter is not very secure or stable. I used it on my tripod because, let's face it, the lens is heavier than the camera. The tripod foot wobbles badly, even when secured as tightly as possible. The clearance and tolerance for the tripod foot are pretty key if you're going to be depending on this adapter as the only thing keeping your camera from falling off your tripod. This small piece likely needs to be better designed for smaller tolerances and snugger fit. Because all else seems flawless, I'm on the fence as to whether to remove a star because of the poor tripod foot snugness. Update October 16, 2018: I've positioned a tiny piece of fabric as a wedge to one area of the tripod foot on this lens in order to cinch the wobblies. That seems to have done the trick for now. Commlite -- where do we stand on making a product like this into an adapter with speed boost?

Works perfectly, glad we didn't buy the brand name model for our M3 that cost almost 200. This was a great deal for us.

As soon as it arrived I attached it to my M6 and tried it out with my EF 40mm f 2.8 and EF 70-200 f 2.8L lenses. No problems at all with the autofocus on either of them. Created a short video with the 40mm and the autofocus worked quite nicely when shifting between two subjects near and far. Neither lens has IS so I can’t comment on that aspect. All photos and the video appeared to be sharp. I think I saw a review that said the images were soft around the edges, but that was not my experience. The design appears to be quite robust and of good quality. The tripod mount on the adapter is removable (I wasn’t sure if it was at the time of purchase) I would recommend this adapter very highly, especially given the cost difference between this adapter and the Canon adapter.

Fit camera and lenses, but something wrong with the electrical components, it simply just focuses my lens in and out non stop the second I power on my camera, even if I am not composing a shot/holding the shutter down. UPDATED: The problem is with the M series "Continuous autofocus" which can be turned off. When using the M lenses, they AF so quietly/smoothly you don't notice until you try using an EF lens. This setting can be turned off in the menu. (Will also save battery) This product works well after doing that.

I’ve always been a bit skeptical about 3rd party products on my Canon gear, but with decent reviews and for almost half the cost this seemed like it would be worth a shot. Tried it on and feels just as solid as the Canon version. Tested the autofocus in video and stills mode and everything works as it should. So far so good!

Yeah... crazy to buy Canon Brand in this case because this adapter works perfectly. I bought another adapter from these guys for a panasonic camera and it was total junk. I was very reluctant to give them a second chance.

Like many of you, I spend considerable time researching before I buy an item. I was torn between this adapter and the Canon one for my new Canon M6 camera, which was purchased for a trip of a lifetime. The reviews swayed me, and I put it through a bit of testing today. First, the lock-up between the adapter and camera is solid, and has no wobbling like purchasers of other brands reported. Solid and stable. Connecting several of my EF lenses, both Canon and Tamron, all yielded great quick auto-focus and stable lockup. I took several dozen pictures from varying distances, and all yielded very acceptable results. The lenses search a bit more connected to the adapter when using automatic focusing and the automatic camera setting than on my 5D Mark II, or using a native EF-M mounted lens on this camera, but I rarely use automatic anyway. Further, even though they searched, it was a quick focus when I kept the camera and lens stable. More than acceptable to catch a quick picture that simply can't be duplicated. I can't speak to the long term durability, but it has a solid build, and was well packaged unlike many off brand purchases I have made in the past. I have confidence in this. Enough that I'm flying half-way around the world and taking pictures in a place I'll likely never return to in my lifetime. Well done to the manufacturer, and I can solidly recommend this for your use. I paid full price, and would again.
