This is perfect for what we need. Whether it's chatting or surfing (yes, sometimes I use Edge on Xbox), this makes the task so much easier. It doesn't slip off the controller. It doesn't get in the way of regular game play. Definitely a great price, since the other that I bought from GameStop was more expensive and I had to return it because it kept coming loose from the controller.

Easy to install, works great!

Works great! My 9 year old was able to install this and follow the instructions herself. A number of the other reviews mentioned concerns with the headphone jack - we don’t typically use ours, but this DOES have headphone jacks and it did work for us. This will save time typing in chats and searches and puts us one step closer to thinking about using our Xbox as our primary entertainment center device.

Easy to use and fits controller perfectly.

I'm not a huge gamer, but searching for videos and messaging on the few games I do play is a millions times easier with this product. The keys are big enough that my husband can type no problem. Its actually easier than my phone keypad. It clicks right into my controller and fits perfectly.

I never had one of these for the One to compare it too, but had a variety for the 360. This one is every bit as good, and virtually the same exact thing, but at a much lesser price. If you use streaming video, this is almost a must for the time it saves searching for the right tv/movie. Or if you are like me and would prefer to message people instead of using a headset..

Works great

I got this for the xbox one. It's perfect for when we are watching Netflix of YouTube. So much easier to just type what you want to watch instead of trying to find the letters on the keyboard on the screen. It's easy to use and havent had to change batteries yet.

Enter text with ease!

Where has this product been all my life!!! In todays world of a million passwords that require special characters and uppercase / lowercase combos, this product is a godsend. Enter any password or search terms easy and fast! Even my 8 yo son is excited for this new additiin to our already impressive xbox one!!

Yes!!!

Finally, using the controller without a keypad was so annoying. Imagine using youtube and having to type in works using the joystick. With this I can just type straight away. So convenient to chat during game play. Connectivity is really strong and barely uses battery.

Easy to attach and use!

We recently upgraded to an Xbox One when our 360 finally kicked the bucket. We had a controller keyboard with our 360 and we didn't know how much we'd miss it until the One came -- the normal cursor is soooo not user-friendly or intuitive. We got so frustrated that we realized we needed a new controller keyboard asap. This keyboard was super easy to attach to the controller and immediately use, and it makes a HUGE difference in being able to easily navigate things on the One interface. I highly recommend it!

Makes in-game chatting much easier

Works for me just great, has a headphone jack, buttons all work. Makes in game chatting so much easier! I’m an idiot and couldn’t remember how to pair my controller in the first place, so getting it up and running was a mess, but completely my fault lol. No, it is not back-lit/ does not light up in the dark so don’t get this if you’re a night owl (I am not). I am a small person with small hands, so the keypad does not get in my way when I’m playing games.
