A few months back I bought this model wireless shutter trigger for my Nikon D850/D810. The hardware set up is extremely easy and intuitive. The instruction manual proved to be more challenging because it's complex. I keep it handy when I need to change settings. The manual is small enough to keep in your camera bag or on the shelf in the studio. This kit has proved to be very reliable and has been everything the manufacturer said it would be. That's why I purchased another remote for my Lumix DMC-FZ1000, which is the product for this review. Anyway, I recommend the WTR-2, at least for how well it has worked for my Nikon and Lumix cameras. It will probably do just as well for any brand.

Bought this for my Sony 7RII and it works perfectly with it. I would have to say this is amazing because I could control a lot of features. Mainly use for timelapse and long exposure shot. However, what I love the most is the interval continuous shooting because I can pretty much autofocus and self-shoot myself. Recommend for someone who loves photography and doesn't have a personal photographer. Makes your life easier.

I didn't like the wireless app for the A6000 and the infrared remote is worthless outdoors, and got tired of using the 10 sec timer. This remote worked great for wireless remote shutter tested at about 30ft. Haven't tested the other features yet. Only downside is the bulk as both the remote and receiver require 2 AAA batteries.

Was everything I expected. Easy to use once you are familiar with what bottom does what. Can sit of hot shoe or hang which ever you need. Really glad I purchased this item.

Works great on my Nikon D750. Only issue is you’ll have to learn how to use it yourself. The user manual is no help.

I attached it to my camera (Nikon D750) to test it, and it worked fine. No complaints or criticisms. Some reviews critcized the manual, which it deserves, but that's frequently the case with manuals.

I really like the price for a full feature product. Some have complained about the instruction manual but I found it better than most. Read thru a it a few times while you have the hand held on and in your hand. It will do almost anything you want. The receiver comes with two port cables to cover most DSLR cameras. You need 4 AAA batteries , 2 in each unit. Other than that it worked right out of the box. I've had a good day in the field with it, no problems.

It's small, uses regular batteries, and does exactly what it's supposed to. I'm glad I made this purchase!

I like this remote. It has a lot of functions beyond a basic trigger. It can trigger the shutter, act as a self-timer for a wide range of intervals, and serve as a versatile intervalometer. It is a nicely constructed unit with a clear display. I may not use some of the functions nearly as much as a conventional remote trigger, but it's nice to have the ability to trigger multiple shots and an intervalometer, or an adjustable delay before trigger.

Perfect item for when you need a shutter release! No wires to fumble with or that might get wrapped around your tripod. Used it for two days while shooting waterfalls.
