I was tied of paying a landscaper, to do work on my property that I wasn’t happy with ,plus i also wanted to spend less time outside doing the same work. I’m glad that I read the reviews. I purchased this Black and Decker trimmer to make my yard work easier and it has ! Really I am amazed at how much i accomplished in a day and a half of trimming and cleaning up. It use to take me at least 3 days to complete this same task. This Black and Deck is a gem, it’s light in weight and powerful. It cut through our mature hedges and flower tree branches with ease.

Nice and lite

Very sharp, cuts good and a lot lighter than to old one I had. Very good method of keeping the extension cord fastened to the trimmer preventing it from disconnecting during use.

Old one lasted 30 years -

For the money B &D , makes very good tools. Our old one ,we used every other month on 2 huge hedges ,for 30 years. It still ran ,but the pivot sheered-off ,that moves the blade .This one seems to be just as well made, this one has much more power. I'll let you know in 30 years.

More better power to weight ratio and endurance over battery power

Stonger power cutting delivery. Additionally far more practical than battery versions, which while motor is good battery storage capacity weakens over years.

Ease of assembly and use.

Certainly beats a manual set of clippers for this aging lady.

Cuts very well

Bigger than my old one and can handles thicker branches very well. Poweful and cuts great. Cut my trimming time by at least an hour.
