Perfect for what I needed it for. Bought my husband one also. He is not a technical person so this was very easy for him to use.

I am not very tech savvy, so it took me a couple of weeks to get around to setting it up. I tried setting it up by reading the instruction booklet and would get frustrated and put it down. I had a hard time following the directions in the pamphlet, they were not very easy to understand. I finally took the time to watch the set up video and finally got my pedometer set up. I now love it! I'm really happy I bought it!

I've had three or four different pedometers over the years and was never pleased with any of them. They were either too difficult to set up, inaccurate, or the settings would need to be re-set periodically for no good reason. This pedometer is easy to set up, is very accurate, and looks good. At four miles of a brisk walk, this pedometer was accurate to 2/100 of a mile. That is good enough for me. The price for this fine product is very reasonable.

I absolutely love this pedometer! It is very accurate and light weight. It came right on time and I love the strong clip it comes with. I love the fact I have a choice to wear it around my neck on the cord or on my waistline. It is also very accurate clipped to a sweater. I would definitely recommend this one. I find it far less confusing than a Fitbit.

Been obsessively researching wearable wrist activity trackers, but came to the conclusion that they were all inaccurate to various degrees. Like some tracked sleep and calories well, but not running or resting. So...saved my money and bought this pedometer. Setup was easy. In honesty, I don't need nor trust the wrist wearables to track my calories or my sleep. Why do I need that when it's not even accurate? Lastly, I have my favorite watches to wear. I need my wrist free. I feel more at ease losing this 25$ pedometer over worrying someone trying to steal a costly and inaccurate wearable. I don't know how accurate this pedometer is, but I really like how it says in the instructions that this is supposed to count to 10 full steps before fully beginning to track as to not confuse just shuffling around a chair or so. The clip it comes in isn't the best, but I have this on my belt on the side of my body on my hip aligned below my armpit and so far the clip stays while I am moving. The only time it has fallen off is when it was pushed off by hitting the side of my car seat while I was entering. I was using a fitness app on my phone, but when its charging, I'm missing steps logged. Tip: watch a video on how to set up this pedometer. I can see it being difficult for some as the menu requires quick inputs.Another way is to just scroll until you figure out what section you are on. For example when the setup menu goes to weight just click up or down until you have a few seconds to know which number you're supposed to be at otherwise the menu will auto exit.

Very easy to use. Be aware that there is a small window of time to set the time, date and your weight, so that you have to have a sense of what you are doing, but it's very easy to re-start if you wait too long. Just hold down "set" until you get the option to start changing things and toggle through the selections. Very simple if you've set a digital watch before. It works for me and my wife no matter where we wear it. The necklace option is a little awkward to set up, but it clips anywhere and the clip is wide and simple. I have clipped it on my inside coat pocket, my belt loop and my shirt pocket, all with the same excellent step count. I get that nowadays people are often using their fitbit or other device to track steps, and that is, admittedly, efficient, but I'm not a fan of the fitbit option. I like to keep track a little more old school so I am forced to think about it all more. Perhaps I'll get on the fitbit bandwagon eventually, but for now, my wife and I have fun with tracking steps and calorie consumption separately. Some people complained about the device not tracking your first 10 steps. My wife and I like that option, since it forces us to get up and move a bit more and doesn't track just walking between the couch and fridge.

I have been using fitness trackers since 2012. I have had 2 1/2 trackers before the 3DTriSport. The first two were the same: Fit***, the first model out. I lost the first and then the second. The clip holder did not hold the device securely, or the two that I had, did not, and failed. They were accurate. The second was a Yam** E510 which just stopped working two weeks ago. It did not have a holder, and came with a very short lanyard, which I could not figure out its use. I did not have any problems programming either of these. I purchased the 3DTriSport based upon reviews, discounting those which had a programming problem. Right after I ordered I received an email from a customer support rep, giving me instructions, a training video and a telephone number to call if I had problems. The item arrived and the blister pack opened easily. Included was a clip holder and a two part lanyard, and instructions (I must have three sets right now. Programming was easy. The only mistake I made was in pulling out the plastic battery protector which started the clock. Thus was easy to correct. The clip holder seems robust and I have clipped it to my t-shirt collar, sock, pocket while exercising at my gym and it stayed put. I have placed the small part of the lanyard on the tracker and sometimes connect it to the longer portion and wear it around my neck while on a treadmill. That way it is easier to compare the distances on each. Now, the most important part: accuracy. I have tracked distance on a treadmill and the 3DTriSport about 7 times. It has never deviated by more than 0.02 miles. This is accurate enough for my needs. I have also tracked distance from my house to my gym and compared to Google Maps to the TriSport and again, never more than 0.02 miles difference. I also found that it tracks walking on stairs as well. This in accurate, well made, and quite a value for its price.

I've had this pedometer for 6 months now and really like it. When it first arrived my heart sank because it looked big and bulky, because it was in the case to be clipped on your belt. I don't like wearing a pedometer like that - on others in the past, I have accidentally pushed the reset buttons when scrunched up in the garden, and more than one has gone flying when the clip broke. Upon closer inspection of the3DTriSport, I saw that I could easily remove it from the belt clip. Without the extra bulk, it's slim and fits nicely in my pant pocket. Was very easy to set up, and the company had sent an email with helpful info making sure I had all the info I needed to get started with it. Good customer service. It's pretty accurate, with the exception of counting steps while walking in place. During inclement weather I use video walking programs, and there are segments of walking, or marching, in place. The 3DTriSport doesn't seem to want to count those steps. It's a disappointment, but not a big deal, because the walking in place is a small part of my overall daily walking. All in all, this is a fairly reliable pedometer that provides all the necessary info and I would recommend it to others.

Once you know how to properly set your stride, this pedometer is accurate to within 3% according to every test I've done so far. It was so good I bought a second one for my 75-year old mom too. Don't measure your stride with a ruler. I measured mines at 26 inches (I'm 5'6 135 lbs.) and using a value of 26 inches, the pedometer recorded too many steps (120 instead of 100). So I went back outside, bumped it up to 28, and took 100 steps; 110 was the result. Changed it to 30, voila! 100 steps. Every time I have tested 100 steps, it is always between 97-103. Now for recording distance, I walk around my local park track that is 1.5 miles long. This pedometer records 1.47 miles, so awesome, very happy with it so far and praying it doesn't break down. The clip is pretty secure when clipped to my belt, but I prefer to clip it to my front left belt loop where it fully clips. To remove clip, you have to push the pedometer upwards so I don't worry about the pedometer slippping off when I walk or jog. I've only had this for only a week, and so far it has definitely been a 5 star device... not to say I've not owned other great things that broke down shortly after you buy them *knock on wood*.

I bought this after reading the reviews for it. What I like the most is that I clip it to my shoe and forget about having it on. Keeps an accurate count of your steps. If you have any trouble setting it up they have a video to watch.
