Excellent value
You won’t find better value arrived quickly and had no damage this is easily twice the value I found in my last safe, which had electronic failure and had to be “opened”. The key override is epic value I attached several photos to help give an idea of the size. You could easily fit dozens of handguns and docs in this safe

The product had no damage and shipped super fast!
I needed a safe and this looked like the perfect one. It operates by entering a code or using a key. I like these two functions. Most only have one or the other function. The safe is on the lighter side of the usually super heavy safe. But its ok because you can mount down the safe. It comes with pre drill hoes and screws for you. great!! I can't wait to use this!

We like it
We lost a bunch of important papers in our last safe, which was a fire safe, because we didn't open it for a while and everything got covered in nasty mold. It was awful and a huge inconvenience to have to get new birth certs and such. So, I got rid of that thing and bought this instead. No, it's not fireproof, but what good does fireproof do if your stuff just gets ruined anyway? It's secure against prying eyes and hands from people in your home and would likely protect your things against amateur thieves, also, especially if it is adequately concealed. We will be moving to a new home soon and are planning on having this installed in a concealed area behind a hidden panel, but where there is still ventilation so we don't lose things to mold again. We like it and have no issues.

Good Safe; Requires Minor Tuning
Good Safe for the price. Fits very well into a cabinet in my house (which tells nothing about yours). When I screwed it to the floor however, I found that screw heads protrude inside the safe, so that the things would not lay flat on the safe floor; see the picture. Even when I covered the heads with the felt pad which came with the safe, it did not help much because the pad is very thin, and the lower surface was still bumpy. To fix the problem, I cut the new pad from the packing material they used to ship the safe. It is made of closed cell foam, super easy to cut with utility knife, and it does not peel or break. I cut four small holes for screw heads on the bottom side and cut off the corner for the hinge. The pad is a little bit thicker than necessary, but who cares. Now the lower surface in the safe is even and soft to touch. Note: I have not tried to program the code yet. I hope there will be no trouble. I’ll update the review if something interesting.

Perfect for my needs
Shipped fast and is exactly what I needed. I added a magnet light from harbor freight. Holds my stuff, including a standard size ammo can.

You don't really need water and fire proof, just a strong lock box.
This 1.52 cubic foot electronic locking with dual bolts steel safe is a great way to keep your valuables secure from sticky fingers and prying eyes. It is on the heavy side at 35 pounds, but not too heavy to mount on a wall or on a flat surface like a desk or table top. I mounted mine on a shelf on top of a wooden curio stand , attaching it to the wall with four 5/16 plastic wall anchors so there is actually no weight on the stand itself. Programming the lock is easy, just put in 4 aa batteries and push a button located in the battery compartment and enter up to 8 digits on the digital pad for your pass code. Lots of room with a shelf inside. Not water or fire proof but who really needs all that? Great product, I highly recommend.

NOT a Fire Safe
This is just a valuables safe. It will not protect from fire or water damage, but it is just what it promises. The key pad is easy to use and easy to program. It comes with 2 keys (they are a little big but you probably won't be carrying them in your pocket). I think it will only accept 1 digital code at a time, so you can't make codes for every different person using it), We programmed in a 7 digit code but I think it accepts 4-8 digit codes. Fairly solid and has predrilled holes to secure it on the sides and back. It also has one shelf in the middle that is removable so you an fit those bigger items in it if needed.

Good deal for this price point
I purchased this safe because it has 2 methods of entry: a customizable PIN, and a physical key. Entering the wrong code will cause the safe to go into lockout mode for 5 minutes, but using the physical key can override the lockout mode at any time. I purchased this because of the mounting option, and the shelf (2 levels of storage). I mounted my to the wall (at ground level) using my own hardware, but I believe the hardware that is included with this safe is for floor mounting. This model is NOT fire-proof.

Perfect for current needs!
Really happy with the safe so far! For the price it’s great. Being that it’s not fireproof, I bought a fire/waterproof envelope for my important docs & cash and store that inside the safe. Setup was easy enough, being i mounted it into the wall vs the floor. Setting or resetting the access code is really easy too!

Highly recommend
Second time purchasing this product, this time I choose a bigger size. Of course, I still highly recommend this product to you. Strong and good quality keep your docs or values always safe.
