The material is just as advertised and perfect for mason bees! Well worth the price. I got two but I might get more.

I bought this sweet little bee house because a recent construction project had disrupted bees dwelling on my property. The bees had always created holes in a clay bank. I didn't expect this purchase to be a success, but thought I should at least try something to give them a new option. I installed it close to the ground in a protected area near the previous bee holes. They ignored it completely for a week and then decided that it was a pretty nice space. While small, it is a very attractive addition to the garden.

Very attractive, happy to have it in my yard!

Last week I noticed an insect of some sort was making a home in my wooden eaves and I was ready to boot them (well, kill them....) until I realized that it was a bumble bee! Instead I went searching for a new house for the bee (so he would quit eating mine but stay in my yard). I was very happy to find these bee houses and feel god about welcoming the bees to my yard. I expect I will buy more when these start to fall apart in a few years.
