Awesome bright vibrant colors! Easy to use.

We bought this bulb to replace one inside a lighted ball we take camping with us. (See pictures) The dimmer blue ball picture (last picture) is of one using the OLD bulb. Compare that we the other ball pictures. What a difference? Why? the original bulb was more of a spot light so the light was more downward. This new bulb disperses the light in a larger sphere pattern. I have included pictures from a regular lamp in our house. All photos were taken with an iPhone with NO adjustments. You can see how vibrant the color is. The remote could be a little better but is still very easy to use. There are some buttons that are not very clear what they are for so will take a little reading and usage to understand them. I know some are for saving certain settings (i think 2) so you can change to them with a single button push. To change colors is bit unusual. Its based on the color wheel. There are four color buttons positioned on a color wheel on the remote. When a button is pushed, the remote incrementally changes color from the current color to the next available color around the imaginary color wheel towards the color button you pressed. Confusing?? Lets say you have blue but want to change to green. Pushing the green button doesn't immediately change it to green. Instead it "cycles" through the color wheel blending the colors until you reach pure green. As I am writing this, I'm not sure if there is a way to change immediately to green. I'll need to play a bit more with it. A bonus for us is that we can control the bulb with the remote from inside the camper. With the old bulb, it just would not work. We had to go outside and stand within two feet of the bulb to make changes or turn it off. I did play with remote distance in the house and was able to control the bulb from about 25 feet away. You do need line of sight.

How did I not know about these earlier?!

What a good investment! I was looking for these motion sensor light bulbs but couldn't find decent ones at the local box hardware stores so I held off on purchasing one. I came across these on a random Amazon search and for the cheap price, I thought why not try them? Upon purchasing, I had installed these in the stairway down to the basement and it's great. I always had to flip the light switch on and leave the light on when I had to go downstairs to the basement but I thought it was such a waste of energy to leave the lights the whole time while I was active downstairs. Now, I leave the switch on 'on' with these motion sensing bulbs and it saves energy by only coming on when I need them to. It also helps when you have a load full of stuff in your hands since you don't have to fumble with turning the light switch. If you hate energy wasting habits like me, try them for yourselves and feel good for yourself. Great product and a cheap but effective solution to contribute to the greener causes.

A great alternative to the HUE brand of bulbs.

For the price, these lights are incredible. They are significantly brighter than others I've tried and are comparable to the hue brand of bulbs. I can buy 4 or 5 of these for the price of a single hue bulb. If you don't need the ability to control the lights via your smart phone, these are a great option. They don't require a hub either, as they are controlled by a (very) small remote. I could see the remote being easily lost, however with each bulb you get another remote, so just order a few and problem solved! The only down side to these is that the remote can be difficult to use until you get the hang of it. (not the greatest English translation) I had to read the instructions three times before it finally sunk in, lol.

Spectacular - Stunning - Brightness & Colors

I am thrilled with this LED remote light bulb! Before I found this latest one, I had an LED light, that had the basics and I use it for typing, and as a desk lamp. It worked fine, but was not too bright, and went out. When I purchased this product, I was extremely impressed with the brightness of the light...so much so that I may get another one, for my standard lights for my room's ceiling fan - and replace the other normal light. Standard socket, which is terrific. It may be 9w, but it's very clear and quite bright, with the lighting options and colors/features that make it a stellar product to replace your standard bulbs with. It's has a giant advantage on the spiral - energy saving lights, which seem to go out much quicker than a standard bulb. For what it does, and the multiple features it has, I would highly recommend this to anyone who's looking for a well priced LED option. It's cool, it's remote is very useful, and it's been a huge help already. A very big THANK YOU to the seller of this product. I really appreciate it...and it shipped and arrived quickly.

Back in my day light bulbs didn't have remote controls... So fun!

Full disclosure: I did not test to see if all 120 lights appeared as advertised. However, playing around with a few minutes of, "Hey, what's this button do?" produced some really fun, vivid colors that filled the room nicely. The bulb is easy to use and screws into any standard light fixture. The remote has a bunch of options that I don't full understand, but oh the lights! So fun, and bright, and they flow from color to color to fill your room with rainbows. (I kinda, sorta, have a thing for rainbows.) I just got one of these, but a room full that all work at the same time off the same remote would be both trippy and entertaining.

Very pretty!

Just love it. So much fun! Huge convenience having a remote control for the lamp! I no longer have to pull a muscle trying to turn it off without getting out of bed. (You know you’ve done that, too. Don’t lie!) I did have to get a new lamp, as the bulb didn’t fit in my old one. I would recommend you have a lampshade that attaches under the bulb, and not with a harp over the bulb, since it is taller than “regular” bulbs. I bought a whole new lamp because it was cheaper than a new shade.

Bright, awesome lighting solution

This thing is awesome, there is so many to choose from and this one is the best! My main concern was the brightness of the white setting and this is as bright as my original light bulb . The remote is great, batteries included. This build is dimmable 4 setting up and down. A really cool aspect is you can shut this off and on from the remote itself. So I can leave my lamp on and shut the light off from bed. The colors are pretty, let's say your on blue, you can press the green button and each time you press it, the light gets more and more green from that blue so you can adjust it to so many color variations. The center button on the bottom color wheel is back to white light for a quick change. The lumens(brightness level) on this bulb are higher than any other one I have come across while shopping for this. Go this this one!

These are incredible bulbs, with one small caveat!

I dare say that these bulbs are probably the best deal on all of Amazon! I like them a lot. The colors are rich and vibrant, giving off great vibes in any room of choice. You can basically set it to be almost any color you want, and all shades in between thereafter. The remote is convenient and definitely a selling point. Adding to this, you can operate multiple bulbs with a single remote, making uniform colors effortless. I bought three of these bulbs. One I put in a corner torch lamp and the other two I put in wall lamps I got from Ikea. Instant color magic! I can relax at night to whichever hue my mood desires. They're very calming! Sometimes I like to set them to match a theme of music I'm listening to. Purple/Electric blue for 80's Retrowave and Synthwave, UK Hardcore, Dubstep, or House. Red for Death Metal or dark ambient. Maybe yellow, light orange, or lime green for orchestral or soundtracks. It's a lot of fun, and really gives the music a powerful, immersive, visual depth, believe it or not. I would compare the type of color light you get exactly to that of standing under a HUGE neon sign. It gives off a glow that's undeniably electronic in tone, but still sharp and pronounced. It feels like my bedroom is situated in a big futuristic city skyscraper, surrounded by a glistening and gleaming night life all around. One warning, however: One bulb by itself is NOT suitable for primary white lighting. The full brightness white is the only area where these leave something to be desired. It's hard on the eyes, ugly, and has a blue tint to it. It's headache-inducing without providing enough light to actually be adequate. Maybe a single bulb would work for a desk lamp, but not for a whole room. If you want to light an entire room, you'll need more than one. If I turn all 3 on I have, it's fine. Nice and bright, as they balance each other out to make for a more functional and pleasing white light. One by itself doesn't cut it. It just manages to be irritating. With that in mind, I would absolutely recommend these bulbs. It's worth the little inconvenience for the endless colors alone, I promise. I am overall completely satisfied with them. And for the price, there's not much to lose if you take a chance to try them out. I'm glad I did!
