Solved my mounting angle dilemma.

The angle mount for Ring Doorbell works well. I would have preferred 4 mounting screws instead of just two. That makes me questions as to how easy it might be to just pull it off the wall since the larger size gives a better grip on the unit? I guess if someone wanted my Ring doorbell that bad, they would just bring a pry bar and rip it off the wall.

Great view of entire porch and walkway!

Our doorbell was not only at a right angle to the door, but recessed a bit. The provided angle bracket in the Ring packaging was not enough. I decided to try this out since it was the cheapest angled bracket. It worked PERFECTLY! The fish eye lens still catches the entire front porch and walkway! I took the pics of the product to show that the doorbell does not need to be at a right angle, the 55 degrees works well!

Perfect fit

Just got the package, took about 30mim to assemble (including preparing the tools, drilling, measuring the Voltage of the transformator just to make sure, etc.), mount is a perfect fit, feel free to use with the 1st generation of the Ring.

Easy as snapping your fingers

This product gave me the ability to adjust my Ring product easily and (finally) stop the irritating and seemingly endless tirade of messages from picking up traffic and sidewalk pedestrians. I have wood siding so the screws supplied were usable, the amount of thought given to the product allowed me use my transformer with out modifying the kit, the fit of my Ring 2 and the included backing plate is exact. As far as durability, I'll have to wait and see, living in the north country where we get large amounts of snow and long freezing, time will tell.

Works Perfect!

I have a hallway entrance and this was perfect to pair with my Ring doorbell. It added the angle I needed to get a better view. You can also adjust it, which is very helpful. Installing it was easy and so far it securely holds on the Ring doorbell. I would recommend this item.

Excellent idea but be careful

Good value for the money and it seems the only available method to extend the Ring 2 beyond the supplied wedge. There are solid wedges available in various angles for the Pro but not the ring 2. The issue with this adjustable unit is theft. Removing the two very small screws allows the unit to swing out and easily be snapped off. I used it in 30 degree mode by putting 2 screws through the stationary and adjustable part therefore eliminating the adjustment feature but securing the unit from theft.

Useful

My doorbell is placed on the side wall and it gave us very limited view of the driveway when we installed our ring doorbell. Our kit doesn’t come with a wedge. Anyway long story short, installing this gives us a much better view of our front porch and driveway.
