30 to 55 Degree Range Allows Setting At Best Position
Pros: 1). 30 to 55 degrees more useful than a fixed angle; 2). Easy to mount; 3). Volume within the mount more than enough to tuck the wires and allow longer wires if the Ring doorbell needs to be removed to maintenance. 4). High impact plastic durable. 5). I used acetate to prime to paint to match house mounting (should have used sand paper). 6). Unit is ambidextrous - just flip vertically to mount on opposite side. Cons: none.

Worked perfect to mount my Ring on a slim location where original doorbell was. No I don't have to reroute wires and works perfectly. If you have a slim mounting location where it may not fit, this allows it to be mounted centrally with the screws in center. Allowed me to keep the Ring.

get better angle if you front walkway is at an angle
The product truly helps, get better angle if you front walkway is at an angle. It helps see whose approaching up your front walkway. I would recommend if your doorbell is off to the side to use this product. It took only 2 days to receive. Worth it.

great product. couldn't be easier all hardware is included. even philips screwdriver and 4 screws made to attach the video doorbell 2. the 2 holes used to mount the bracket to the wall are in the middle which was good for me cause i could not have used holes on the corners, i don't have much width on my door jam. i hardwired mine but charging the battery will not be hard. happy with product.

Great product!
Although 2 wedge mounts come with the Ring Video Doorbell 2 that I purchased, I saw this mount and preferred it because you can change the positioning from 30 to 55 degrees. That provides additional options instead of fixed positioning. I had my contractor come last night and put this device up for me and Amazon Home Services is coming this morning to install the doorbell. The mount was very easy to install. Can't wait to test it out once the doorbell is installed.

Better range of view than expected!
My doorbell is perpendicular to my door, so I got this angle mount to increase the range of view. Set at 55 degrees, I can now see who is approaching the door. Install: It was actually easier to install the Ring Doorbell 2 WITH this mount, compared to mounting the Ring direct. The Ring Doorbell 2 requires drilling/screwing 4 holes into the wall/cbs. This angle mount only has 2 holes/screws (one on top and one on bottom). The Ring Doorbell 2 then attached via 4 screws ONTO the angle bracket. My existing doorbell was mounted to an electrical box. I made some modifications to my angle mount to make the install cleaner. I secured the bottom screw hold of the mount onto the bottom hold of the electrical box. Because the ring is a taller doorbell, the electrical box holes do not match up to the Angle Mount's holes. By using the bottom hole, I only needed to drill one hold in the Angle Mount that was at the same height as the top hole of the electrical box. By doing this, I did not have to drill any holes into the wall/cbs. Thumbs up.

Solves a problem with mis-located doorbells
Our doorbell is located on the side wall of our porch, facing 90 degrees from the front door. We got a RING doorbell and this little deal fixed our view issues with the new doorbell. It is very easy to install, is very stable on the wall and we now have a good view of our porch when the doorbell rings or someone comes to the porch.

Great product.
I wanted to angle my Ring doorbell to capture traffic from the road and this did the trick. Awesome product, hard plastic and like the convenience of the angle screw in case I want to adjust it. The best part is you can use the same drill bit provided by Ring to drill the wholes on the wall. Quick note before you buy is you will have to drill new wholes on wall as this has a screw whole on top and bottom.

Perfect for side wall installation
Our Ring Doorbell 2 is installed on an adjacent wall, at a 90 degree angle from the front door. We bought this to be able to tilt the doorbell so it faces people more onward as they come to the door. This item does the trick! Very easy to adjust the angle and user friendly to install.

very convenient but has some potential issues
This adjustable wedge for the Ring doorbell was very convenient to install and is quite useful to get exactly the angle you need. My doorbell is mounted at right angles to the door opening so I needed to tilt it to the side. The wedge that comes with the Ring wasn't enough and they only offer fixed angle add-ons. I like the fact that I can install this adjustable wedge and move it to exactly where I want it while watching the video. Now, the shortcomings - The Ring is designed to make it very difficult to remove from its mount. They use a "security screw" to hold the cover on (really a just small Torx bit, but not too many people carry around these anyway). A standard Phillips head is the adjustment locking screw on this wedge. If you remove them, one might be able to rip the housing off the wall and carry away the doorbell, so this is something that could be improved. Of course, you would have their picture as they stole the doorbell, but I wonder if this voids Ring's theft guarantee. Second concern: My doorbell is mounted under an overhang, so there is very little harsh weather to deal with. If your doorbell is out in the open, I am not sure how weathertight this wedge is, particularly where the angle adjustment slot is. Not too much water can get in, but I like to design things with a little overkill anyway.
