It seems to help

My dog doesn’t care for fireworks and tends to hide in strange places when he hears them. This vest seems to help. I can tell he’s still scared but he’s much more willing to sit with me instead of hiding when the vest is on. For reference, my dog is a Maltese shih tzu mix and weighs about 9 lbs. the XS fits perfectly. At least I assume so; I think it’s supposed to be pretty snug.

It works!

This product was very helpful in aiding my rescues foster puppy in her care after a tragic accident. Her skull was fractured on one side after receiving a blow to the head with a bat leaving her blind and unable to walk straight. She could only turn in circles to the left and it was exceedingly worse if she were to become excited or anxious. I ordered this jacket in an attempt to calm her and make her feel more secure. The same day as I put the jacket on her is the same day she improved with walking in straight strides. She seemed more relaxed as well. She has now made her way to a northern rescue who deals greatly with blind puppies. They are wanting to continue her care with updating her jacket to a larger size since she has since grown quite a bit. Thank you for this product. I do believe it is what made a large difference.

Great Product

I tried others but the ones that fasten around the neck my dog would chew; some even have buttons which are dangerous for a dog that will try to get at the button and chew when you are away. This one made like a vest is the perfect solution! It is great quality; very satisfied and highly recommend.

Calming Vest Gets a Tryout

When I sent the Comfort Zone Calming Vest to my son's dog, I said to myself, "Well, I doubt a thunderstorm will come for a long time." Within a few weeks Florence zoomed into N. Carolina where Scratch wore it for over a week. Fortunately my son let him wear the vest a few days before the storm hit to acclimate him to wearing it. I feel the purchase was a good buy and fit the "under 25 pounds" dog well.

Great purchase for our 8lbs. Shih Tzu with rain/storm anxiety

My sweet Shih Tzu, has really bad rain/storm anxiety and I am so happy that I purchased this for her! Very easy to put on, soft fabric, seems very durable with strong velcro. She is a little under 8 pounds and the extra small is a perfect fit. Pictured is her wearing it during a big rain storm and SLEEPING! This is not the norm for her at all.

It really works!!

I have to admit I was very skeptical about this product doing what it claims. This vest was like absolute magic when I put it on my Shih-Tzu. He is terrified of thunder and fireworks. The first time I put the vest on him he immediately calmed down and went to sleep. Every time since then it has worked the same way. I am so happy I tried this product and so is my little fur baby.

It works instantly

Our terrier/chihuahua mix gets stressed easily. The first time she became frightened after we had purchased the Comfort Zone Calming Vest, we put the comfort vest on her and she immediately calmed down. No shaking, no pacing, totally relaxed. We can't believe how well it worked. We are looking forward to our next stressful situation knowing it will be all right. If you have a dog that stresses easily, we would definitely recommend it.

Calming

We bought this vest for our little Shih Tzu who experiences high anxiety during the very loud thunderstorms we have here in Texas. The vest seems to calm and reassure her. She no longer runs under the bed to hide. And now that she is used to the vest, she seems happy to put it on when the thunder starts.

Vest really works

The calming vest really works. Actually, it may work too well. When placed in the vest our dog does not move, none, nada. We got up and walked around the house, came back and she was still standing where we left her. We are actually somewhat afraid to put it on her and go anywhere. But if you want a calming vest this is the one for you.
