Surprisingly bright flashlight and laser. The UV is rather weak. Very small (easy pocket-sized), well-made. I ran the flashlight for about 1.5 hours before it started dimming. Recharged very quickly. Love that it is rechargeable rather than using disposable batteries. Came with a short USB cord and a nice carry bag. I've now had this for several months and love it! The flashlight is quite bright, very white with a distinct cone of light and is excellent as a primary flashlight. I use it nightly for dog walking. It lights up trees several hundred feet away. The laser is also surprisingly bright and produces red spots quite far away. The UV works well for closer inspection. The battery lasts a couple of hours (a month of use for me) and charges fully in about an hour or so. The led turns off when charged. This thing is thoughtfully designed and well made.

Charges in about an hour. Lasts forever it seems I figured for less than $10 this wouldn't last, but I've had it for months now and it's been used almost daily by my 14yo to entertain himself and the cats. Nice feature with the regular flash light part, comes in handy at night when I don't want to turn on the big lights. I even bought a second one.

I’ve gotten more out of this than it’s worth! My dog and I have had endless hours of playing. I’ve taken it on trips as a flashlight and it’s brighter than all my friends’. I’ve used it to find scorpions in Mexico and to explore my friend’s room with a UV light (which was a mistake for sure!) It’s an all around great tool and I carry it everywhere! Also, this thing is a beast in terms of battery life! It lasts for days of frequent use on a single charge! My only complaint is that the button on the slider switch fell off easily (but after a while I discovered that it improved the look and feel of the laser pointer) and the wrist strap on it is currently sitting in pieces on my desk. When I inevitably lose this one, I am definitely going to buy another!

I love that it's rechargeable. No more wasted batteries. I got this as my cat just seems to WANT to play but never does. Kinda like my desire to go outside. It's a no thank you world out there. Sure, he was interested in it.... For like 5 minutes. Then he plopped his fat butt down on my 3yr old daughter's bed and proceeded to bathe. My twins run into the room and they chase after the little red dot like cats high on catnip and weed. Now they routinely ask to chase the red dot. Hey... Whatever gets them tired enough to nap, right? Great sleek design. Easily could fit on a key chain. It's wonderful I don't have to press and hold a button until my thumb or finger fall off to use any functions. I would definitely buy again.

You have NO IDEA how many years I have been looking for this type of laser pointer! I have Cerebral Palsy.which affects digital dexterity, and most laser pointers only exert light when the button is depressed. THANK YOU! Because of this type of laser, I am able to play with my fur sons!

Gertie (originally named Jasmine, totally inappropriate) came via a shelter, less than one year old. Full of energy, worked it off by galloping through the house-- even in the middle of the night. Hence she got the new name, Galloping Gertie. We tried this laser pointer and now she keeps us company while we watch the news and she works off her excess energies at a reasonable hour, and doesn't go chasing about the house when we're sleeping. What is PARTICULARLY great about this laser pointer is that it is easily chargeable. We had gone through 3-4 different laser pointers because the batteries soon died, and cost as much to replace as that pointer itself. (You might ask, why was her original name, Jasmine, such a bad fit? Think of it, don't you envision a Jasmine lounging on a pillow sipping catnip tea? That was NOT our Gertie!)

The laser light I had before didn't last long and my cat would always want to play more. Now this one really does last. Right out of the package we played and played for a whole week before l had to recharge it for the first time! Oh did l for get mention that I'm absolutely loving being able to just recharge the laser light. Way better than trying to find batteries. My thanks to the makers.

Seriously, this is the best laser pointer. I bought it for my cat, but I have found myself using it as a flashlight a couple of times. When I'm at home, it's usually in my pocket. Last night I left it in the pocket of my pajama pants and it went through the washing machine. It survived! I let all of the water trickle out of it by the charging port, hit it with my blow dryer for about 2 minutes, then it was back to normal. They could easily charge double the price for this and it would still be within range. Also, it lasts for a LONG time before you have to charge it. I probably use it about 30 minutes a day for my cat and I charge it about once a week.

I purchased this JJYPet laser for my wife as a gift. We have cats that we play with using a laser pointer, but my wife quits playing with them after a few minutes because her fingers get tired of holding the button down. We also get tired of buying new batteries for it. I looked to Amazon for a solution and found this laser. It features a slide switch, so it stays on without having to be held down. It has a nice wrist strap as well as a pocket clip that can be adjusted. It is rechargeable, but the included USB cable is very short, so you'll need a counter close to the outlet. You'll also need your own USB AC adapter, but most of us have plenty we aren't using. It comes in a black and gold box with the brand name and little else. It was easy to use and charge. The weight and size of it is very nice (it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy). The most important thing is the laser, and I was very surprised by it because it is the brightest laser I've ever seen! Our cats play with laser dots all of the time, and they were a little scared of this one at first! They started playing with it after a few minutes of adjustment and they love it. Overall, I didn't find any problems with this product and highly recommend it to anyone with a cat to play with or even a professional who needs a pointer for a presentation. 5/5 stars
