I have bought like 3 of these because my cat keeps chewing the cords... I even left him the old cords to chew and he keeps going for the new one, maybe they're made with catnip. I have the Yamaha YPT-300. Works great!

This new Power Adapter was a must need. I'm the president and CEO of Music Instruction For All Learners, Inc., a small music school in Baltimore City, MD. We had a Yamaha keyboard donated to us without the power adaptor. The owner had lost it. I went online to Amazon and matched the model number with what Amazon had online and found the one that we needed. I ordered it, it came, it worked great. Nicely made with long cord

This power adapter is nicely made and arrived promptly. Although advertised as a Yamaha product, its label says FouceClaus. This is OK with me, since I expect that Yamaha out-sources this type of product. I like that it is dual voltage AC input 100 to 240 V, so that it can be used in the USA at 120 V and also overseas at 230 V. As reported by other reviewers, I also like its 'sideways' configuration, so that it uses less length along a typical power strip. I like the long DC output chord of 8+ feet - it provides more convenience in reaching an AC power outlet - especially in a gig situation where several players also need AC power. The DC output of 12 v at 1.5 A is more than adequate for Yamaha keyboards My only negative comment is that it has no indicator light to show that it is on. It would be nice to have this, so that I know that the wall outlet/power strip that I am plugged into has AC power. It has c UL us listing. Excellent quality and workmanship!

Got this for my Yamaha keyboard when my last one started to "fail". Works great and is longer than the one that came with the keyboard, which is a big plus. I like that the shape of the adaptor allows you more flexibility in plugging it in with other items. My other one had to be on the end of the power strip, or cover an unused outlet. This one can be plugged in anywhere on the power strip without hogging precious space.
