High Quality and very easy to use!

My daughter needed to record an audition piece with her viola for an audition. It had to be an unedited video recording. The video on our phones was fine but the audio was not up to par. I really needed something I could plug into my phone to supplement the audio. I was not expecting to get this amazing mic for the price. I assembled the stand in 1 min and then you slide the mic in, voila! So easy to get started. The mic comes with every input you would need. Aux cable, charger, audio hook ups. I could have used my converter for a lightning cable but I decided to use my S9 to record. It was the easiest part of this process. We were in a small studio and there was a strings class next to us. I positioned the mic on the piano out of frame but close to her. This microphone picked up every note and every breath of my daughter but was just far away enough that it didn't capture the sound next door. It was awesome, like it targeted her sound. The sound experience was transformed from using the phone audio. When I used the phone audio the sound volume was lower (proximity) and it missed the highs and lows of the notes. There was also a small amount of white noise. The sound with the microphone was rich and comprehensive. I could not believe the sound it was able to produce. Amazing!

Perfect With Great Functions

Recommend: Install an advanced recorder app for your mic for best use! I absolutely love this Mic! It’s a lot better than my old mic and I use this one for rapping! You can literally plug your headphones into the mic and hear yourself through the headphones! It’s awesome! It also has a echo function and a volume button on the mic to control the mic sensitivity! Yes this Mic will work with your iPhone as long as you have an iPhone USB dongle(IPhone 7 and Higher...IPhone 6 and lower you won’t need a iPhone dongle)! It’s great

Excellent product and excellent customer service!

This product is amazing for the price! I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. I went ahead and opened it and checked it out. It is very easy to use. I love the fact that it's small and portable, but it still produces a great quality sound. It came with all the necessary cords, which was a huge plus! It's very easy to charge, which I did through the laptop and a wall outlet. Being able to use this with a laptop is great, but I appreciate the fact that it can also be used with a smartphone. Not only is the product great, but their customer service is just as good (quick response time to questions/emails and very friendly). Best customer service I have had out of all of my Amazon purchase history!

Great Mic for Podcast

We tried and tested this little microphone and was greatly surprised by its performance. The sound was clear and provided good audio for our podcast. There is also an echo feature. We tested the feature and it works well. If you are looking to buy a product for recording - vlog, podcast, singing...this is it.

Small beautiful and sounds great.

This is a good microphone. I'm using it with an Android phone (Galaxy s8+) and it works perfectly fine! Simply plug in the aux cable to the phone or laptop. It also has a headphone jack so you can hear what the microphone is picking up, very useful for finding how far away you can get. It has a range of several feet, from my testing, though I'm using it in a rather large room. The closer you are, the better it sounds, as with pretty much all microphones, but it still sounds good from a few feet. It has an echo feature that works well, though it's not something I intend to use. The tripod for it is about a foot high maybe, it's perfect for sitting on a desk/counter. I purchased the rose gold one and it's a very pleasing color. I'd say I'm overall satisfied with this microphone, it fulfils my needs.

Great microphone for the price!

Summary: This microphone is well worth the price. If you don't want to spend more than $30 and you're willing to work with software filters, I would strongly recommend this microphone. This was one of the best valued purchases I've made. I would easily pay double what I paid for this microphone. Because it's a fairly inexpensive microphone, I wasn't expecting amazing sound quality, but it actually does its job quite well. Out of the box, it buzzes a little bit, which is easily fixed with a couple free audio filters (I used VST plugins on my computer). The included tripod is about 5 inches tall and has adjustable tilt. The microphone is held onto the tripod with a shock mount using elastic bands, and the included pop filter is a nice touch that really adds to the value of this mic. The mic is rechargeable (micro USB), and it has a battery life of about 6 hours. I would recommend against charging the mic while using it, because the charging causes interference. However, this interference can easily be eliminated using low pass and noise filters (which is what I do). The microphone has other nice features, such as built-in adjustable echo (I don't use it, but I'm sure someone will), a built-in volume slider, and a media passthrough, which is especially useful if you only have one jack on your device. In terms of appearance, it looks professional and feels premium. This microphone is an incredibly great value, and it can sound surprisingly nice with the right mix of filters. I would highly recommend this microphone to anyone looking for an inexpensive mic that sounds great and doesn't require any extra accessories.

Great phone kit

Purchased to record my daughter’s piano practice. The sound quality is great and it picks up each nuance including the background noises. It meets my expectations for the price. Unable to make it work with windows pc.

BEST MICROPHONE ANYWHERE NEAR THIS PRICE

I have been recording lyrics for many years, and I have never bothered to get a "decent" microphone. However, I wanted something that would work well for quick recordings on my iPhone and iPad. This microphone completely blew away my expectations. In this package, I had everything I needed to instantly start recording (including "headphone out" monitoring capability). Time will tell whether or not this mic will have a long life, but having used it to record my first song on my phone... I am very impressed encourage you to give it a try! It provides a clean, crisp sound!

Can't believe it's a $25 microphone.

I bought the microphone to have an omnidirectional mic for family skype. Little did I know it would improve the range of the sampling I was getting from a $200 Sure. It just so happened my kid asked a question about harmonic distortion while I had the little mic hooked up. I opened a tone generator and a spectrum analyzer and was very pleasantly surprised at the range. It measured <3db below 50hz and above 23Khz (comparatively) as played through my JBL 308 studio monitors, and that result was repeated in my Tube driven ribbon enhanced Polk r50s. I then used it to re-qualify my room adjustments and it performed leaps and bounds beyond the MCACC mic that came with my receiver. If it lasts, it will be worth way more than they charged. The only drawback is the unique way it hooks into systems, though simply plugging it in as a stereo microphone and keeping the volume down has proven to work like a professional mic.

Great so far fantastic!!

I love it!! I use with my smule app. Fantastic!! I love the echo button and also the fact that I can adjust volume if I wish to hear my recording or not as I am singing. Sounds great for the price I wonder how a standard condenser mic would make my recording sound.
