Awesome floor lamp!!!!

I just love my new lamp. It is stylish and functional. It comes in pieces and in less than 15 minutes I had it all put together. The only thing that gave me a stump was the lampshade, not that it was a problem but just that I had never seen one quite like this. It comes with the sides rolled up and then a top/bottom ring... I looked at that and thought to myself, "Well, this is interesting!" The only caution I would offer is that when you set it up to roll just be careful that the bottom ring has the raised spokes on the inside. Otherwise, it went together like a snap! Also, it will only handle up to 60 watts.

A Mid-Century Charmer!

I am quite pleased with this purchase and am glad to have listened to myself when the spirit hit me to buy. Sometimes reading negative reviews can diminish things, but when we listen within we become the exception. This lamp is a Mid-Century Charmer indeed. I love the rich color of the wood, how sturdy it is, and the overall quality of the legs and shade. It was simple to put together, and the color of the cord (made of a soft, yet durable fabric material) matches the body, so the blend is perfect. I plan to get a brighter bulb when the rain lifts, but even this basic 350 lumens bulb casts some nice light. I look forward to moving things around and rightly placing this beauty. Happy camper here in Oakland.

Love, love, love this!!!

This light is AMAZING!!! You will freak when you see the box it all comes in. I’m not sure if directions are standard as I did not get any, but none needed. Super quick and easy to assemble and it’s gorgeous. We bought for the prayer room of our church and quickly decided we needed to find a place for one or two in our home. Beautiful wood color tone and the lampshade is the best part. I won’t spoil the surprise. I order a tone from Amazon, so I don’t do many reviews, but had to praise this purchase!!

Great lamp!

This was exactly the style I wanted. Looked and looked and.....! Did not want to pay $200+, as I needed two lamps. I was surprised when the boxes arrived and they were so small(flat). No way a lamp shade was in the box! Ingenious way to ship a lamp shade. Worked perfectly! The lamps are fantastic and I would recommend them without hesitation!

Looks great in my pimped out crib

This is a stunning amount of quality at this price--unbelievable. Looks great in my pimped out crib. The legs are actual wood--no funny business there. They have a nice stain and finish on them, and even have felt padding at the base of each leg. The linen shade you assemble yourself, but it's easy and comes out looking super expensive. You can, as I have done, mix this lamp in with other expensive furniture and this lamp will fit right in.

I shopped a long time for lamps like these. I probably bought and returned 8 lamps to various stores before I found these. I really like the wood color, the tone of the shade, and even the black-white cord that seemed to bother other reviewers. Assembly is required, but all the tools needed come in the box. And an extra bolt was included with both, which I thought was a great and thoughtful inclusion since we all know how easy it is to drop or lose a single part and simply be out of luck. The shade assembly probably would go best if you had a second person help you. But definitely possible even if you're by yourself. I recommend these lamps.

I LOVE LAMP

This lamp...oh this lamp. Well when I received it, it came in two separate boxes. But that was the least of my problems. I had to COMPLETELY assemble this lamp myself, that of which, I was unaware. I quickly read over the directions because, let's be real, I'm a woman and i dont take directions well anyways. So i looked at the just pictures and decided to put it together right then and there. I pulled all the pieces out of their stupid little plastic bags and spewed a few curse words. I was off to a great start. So, you get 6 pieces of the legs and have to assemble them together to make three legs of the lamp. This my friends, I found to be a challenge. First I kept trying to stick two screws into both ends (in hind sight I get that makes zero sense) don't do this. You stick the sockets in one end and screw the screws into the other end. Also PLEASE note, there is a top end and a bottom end, I screwed two bottom pieces together and at first had assembled my very own handicap lamp! That didn't work out well though...so i had to undo all of that disaster, then reassemble correctly. Also the lamp shade is velcro, you have to do this sort of pinwheel sort of thing to put that together, let's just say that took me a few tries. Apparently I could assemble it the wrong way, more than once, even though it's a 50/50 shot. At this point I was questioning my capabilities as a human but also was determined to persevere because this was clearly going to be a beautiful lamp. FINALLY I got it assembled, and I have to say it is a gorgeous lamp, well worth the money. Plus I though I was buying just a lamp, but no, I was also buying self reassurance in the fact that if I am ever alone in the wild, left to my own defenses....I will surely die. -Michelle Elisabeth

Well-made wood tripod lamp.

Build quality is great. The wood and metal fastener look adds to the build quality. The linen shade also exceeds my expectations. Easy to put together and looks so tweed-esque. Work really well with a Hue Color Lamp; colors and all. Finally, it fits right into my “contemporary mid-century-modern” vibe.
