Great quality

Perfect and lights up wonderful:) fast shipping too. The only thing that worried me was it comes inside the shipping box not in its own box and it was a tight fit I worried with the way some delivery people handle boxes it could be dented as I pulled it out, but it was perfect. :)

Love this globe

Love this globe! It is not only functional but it looks great as a decorative item with our beige walls and our grey media center. The base is wood and it won't off balanced when I use it:)

Perfect size for my bookshelf

I didn’t buy this as a kids item. I used it for office decor and it works very well. It sits on a bookshelf and when lit, especially at night, it adds a touch of class and old school to the room.

Nice globe, good size, lovely color

I bought this to use the globe (no stand) as a tree topper for my "travel" Christmas tree. I have accumulated many ornaments from my travels around the world and decided this year to have a separate tree just for them. This globe is exactly what I wanted to top this tree. If I couldn't have made it work as my topper I would have kept it on its stand and put on my desk, it is the perfect size for that.

excellent education tool. It is very good to teach my kids the countries. Very easy to move. Excellent.Gramma bought this globe for my three curious little children so that the summer at home could go smoother when they needed something to do.Tons of features for kids to explore and they earn coins which my boys think is awesome. It is light weight, very easy to carry around. it is a standard globe. Right stand there.

Perfect size and the Constellation feature is pretty cool.

I bought this as a gift for my Grandson and couldn't be happier. He especially likes the constellation feature. It is a great size too, large enough for definition but not so big that it takes up too much space. With he internet and electronic media you don't see a lot of globes anymore and it is fun too see him understand the relationship to other countries from all directions. I would definitely but this for a young learner again.

I love this antique color global!

This global is really good. It is good size for me to take it anywhere to teach the kids the World Geography. It help kids more understand there's something to knowing the exact shape of the world and one's place in it. The base is wooden, the antique color is elegant, and seller give the pocket magnifier, it makes my teaching more easier. I love it!

Just Right~ lovely, sweet & functional

This globe is lovely, sweet & functiona!l (I got the simplest version~ basic 'vintage' style w/ no light-up nor constellations.) It's sweet size for small home/office-space, while still being just big enough to function well (w/ help of accompanying magnifying glasses for the smaller countries & islands). It's also attractive/pleasant too look at, on shelf. [note: I'm going to put a li'l hole in the plastic magnifying glass handle & tie a cord to it & wooden base of globe, so they stay near each other. :) ] I purchased this b/c I wanted something to easily refer to, when reading news, books, etc, to have a better sense of where countries are located in relation to each other, on 3D sphere. My place is really small, so a regular-size globe was too big/cluttered. But then a super-small globe-ball (which I got elsewhere before this, from a toy store) was too small to actually read... So this one is perfect! I've already used it to locate where a family member was traveling to/from. A great bargain too~ affordable, functional, & of lovely appearance / quality. Thank you!

Great Purchase

I bought the antique colored 8" globe and I absolutely love it. I needed one in my room so I can easily look up places while watching documentaries to get a better grip on things but after having this for about a week I am certainly going to order a second one for my living room. The light feature puts of very nice, calm, mood lighting for nighttime and the globe itself is printed with exceptional clarity. Also after seeing a few images of this globe I was worried the antique coloring may be a bit odd in real life but I was wrong and it looks great. I'm very happy, even showed my roommate and he also really liked it.
