Got the Job Done

I bought this to replace my laptop battery. This got the job done and worked as it's supposed to. The only little downside is that the battery doesn't last as long as my old one. But the difference is rather negligible, so it's not really worth complaining about. I think 5 farts will suffice. It smells really clean by the way.

So Far, So Good

My HP ProBook flashed an error message that said my original battery was going bad. Rather than buy an expensive one from HP or a distributor, I found this one on Amazon for half the price and with good reviews. It arrived promptly, fit perfectly, and charged up just fine. My ProBook didn't like it much. It sent me another message that it detected a non-HP battery. But that has not caused any performance issues so far. I haven't had this one installed long enough to rate its durability or battery life yet. But going on the assumption that it will last at least the five years the original one did.

It actually worked

I was very skeptical in purchasing an off brand battery for my HP Pavilion laptop but have been using my adapter for way too long, I finally took the plunge because my original battery was toast. When I received the battery, I took both the original and this one side by side and it looked identical for the most part. I then went to snap it into place and although the original was a smoother fit, this one clicked in after I aligned it perfectly. For a split second I thought maybe it wasn't going to fit because it was a little tighter than the original. Not tighter like I had to shove it in, just a big more snug. I put it in, then snapped it out to make sure I could do it again, like I wasn't trying to force it in, and it went in again no problem. I've had it for a few weeks and it holds a charge and I am a free woman to use my laptop without the adapter plugged into the wall (although I am still in a habit, haha!). I would highly recommend purchasing this battery if you need one for your laptop. It works, no problems so far. I'm happy with my decision.
