can i just say that these are the best dang lava rocks i have ever seen!!!!!! worked like a CHARM. truly an incredible product. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, relative, acquaintance, even an arch nemesis, because EVERYONE deserves to have a lava rock experience as amazing as mine. great media for a canister filter!!

I'm using this lava rock as a bio media in my aquarium canister filters. the 3/8 inch lava rock come pretty much crushed and provide loads of surface area for benificial bacteria. so far I'm pleased.

Consistent size with no dust.

I am using the 3/8 lava rock as a component of my bonsai soil. It works really well. Larval rock sold specifically for bonsai soil is very expensive. This is a great alternative. I like this product because it is a consistent size and has no dust.

This lava rock is great!

Bought the firepit lava rock for a completely covered look in our fire pit and it is great! I will definitely be ordering more when we need it.

Good rocks!

The sizes are mostly consistent. I didn't need it for a firepit, I used as bacterial medium for a turtle pond. Since rocks get bounced around in shipping they must be thoroughly rinsed before use to get rid of the fine particles.

Reddish/Pink lava rocks

I have a light colored red fireplace and i was looking for some lava rocks to compliment my NEW gas fireplace. These rocks were perfect. if i had to say anything negative, a large portion of the rocks were smaller than the photos, however, they still did the job. My wife really likes then as well. Can't beat the price and they came in a heavy duty plastic bag.

Don't know what you can say about lava rock... it went into the firepit just fine and looks good.

Lavarock

Unfortunately the weather has not allowed us to use our fire pit much this year. However, I’ve been looking for additional rock in a reasonable size bag and price since our original purchase of the pit and your product was it. We were able to fill the center of our pit to our liking and it looks great. The quality of the lava rock is comparable to the original rock. We are thrilled.
